"Cindy Rickett traumatized my 3 year old daughter by continuously dunking her under the water for 10+ seconds at a time ON THE VERY FIRST SWEM LESSON! She insisted that I sit next to the pool (not allowed to talk) but to show that I am supporting this horrible way of swimming lessons. Also insisted that the other twin watches while her sister is franticly crying while she continuously being dunked under water. I stopped it after the 5th time. My twins were hysterical and traumatized. Had severe nightmares and we struggled for weeks to get both twins back to normal behavior. STAY AWAY from this woman and her way of teaching kids to swim!!"

"11 lessons and our 3 year’s old son got his first swimming basics, can float by himself and fought his fear of water. Coaches know what to do with the kids. Super professional, patient and easygoing. First 2 lessons are not easy for parents, just hold on and let them do what they need. Through difficulties to the stars! Recommend to everyone!"

"I showed up to the instructors home wearing my mask and before I could even close the door behind me she demanded that I remove my mask. She told me that masks were not allowed in her home. She hadn't even said hello yet, so I knew it was going to go down hill from there. During my daughter's floating instruction I thought everything went OK. When it was time to switch to underwater exercises the instructor just started dunking her underwater without warning or instruction. The first time, I'm sure my daughter thought it was a fluke but afterwards she thought the lady was nuts. She started choking and asked for a break. Twice. The instructor said, "No, we're going under again" and my daughter came up vomiting. Again, my daughter asked for a break. The instructor then said, "No, if you want a break then you have to float" and then proceeded to try to hold my daughter's head down in the backwards position but my daughter refused to lay back. She said, "I don't want to be at your house anymore. I want my mommy". So I went to her. The instructor told me that these were life saving skills that she needs to learn. I said, "I understand but can you explain to her what you're doing. She's only 4 years old and looks panicked." The instructor said, "That's what I'm doing". I said, "But you're not", and then I said to my daughter, "You need to hold your breath..." The instructor cut me off and said, "There can only be one teacher and that is me." So I said, "Give me my baby". Instead of the instructor trying to reassure my child or me she was like, "I've been doing this for 20 years so I know what I'm doing. I'll just refund you your money". She never introduced herself or established a bond of trust with my child. Even as a parent who was visibly freaked out I would have expected that she would have reassured me by saying this was normal or something. It seems as though she wanted me out of her house as much as I wanted to leave. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!"
