"I FEEL UNJUSTICED!!! I live in Massachusetts, I have been a professional in the eyelash extension field for 4 years, I took the course in Brazil. So the school's propaganda is: be another graduate in the USA, so in August 2022 I contacted the school to find out more information about the process, from the beginning I made sure if there was anything ILLICIT and at all times the school told me saying NO, I can prove it because I have all the conversations saved, so I entered the SCHOOL where they initially charged me $1540.00 to get my license from New York, and as soon as the license came out, I paid another 600 for the transfer to Massachusetts, the school's promise was that I didn't need to take the test and that I would get my license in 4 months. It was nothing like what happened, when I noticed that it was almost a month later than promised, I contacted the school asking what had happened, the school's response was that an agency had changed in the state of MA and that there would be no way for me to get my license without me taking the test. Of course, within my rights, I asked for the money back, as they didn't do as they promised, the school refused to return the money, as they said that my license from another state had been taken away and that they had incurred a cost for this. And they gave me two options, either I would take the test immediately or I would have to WAIT to see if the agency changed anything, but they couldn't return the money since it wasn't the school's fault either. Therefore, I was reluctant to take the test since I had paid $2140 plus the cost of notarized documents that I had sent to the school, because if it had taken longer to get the license and take the test, I would have done everything alone without needing assistance from the school. Today 01/24/2024 I still don't have my license, it's been 1 year and 8 months. Ultimately, I feel injured, wronged and without my work permit, as I am depending on them to resolve this case."
