"My two daughters attend St. Charles. The teachers are hardworking, caring, and professional. The administration is top class. As a sixteen year teacher in public education, the school culture created by the faculty and staff is priceless. My family is made to feel as valued contributors in the St. Charles Community. I've had the privilege of working for/with remarkable administrators. Mr. Nadeau and Mrs. Mates are easily in that class. The financial officer, Ms Williams is a blessing. If you are willing to do more than drop your kids off and pick them up at the bell. If you want a partner in the growth of your children's spiritual and educational journey, then St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is the place."
"*FRAUD ALERT* Terrible administration. Nathan Nadeau is a hypocrite who never once looked myself or my husband in the eye. In fact he continues to dodge our calls and tells the receptionist to say hes "off campus" every time we call yet my husband went to the school and saw him there. My son was only enrolled there because of Mrs. Mates nice presentation. Needless to say I should have done more research before investing a enrollment fee + uniform + school supplies (most of them are shared with the whole grade) AND $650 a month. This school is a fraud and should be shut down immediately. They give steep discounts/free tuition to underprivileged kids so basically your child is going to public school and if you work hard enough/make enough money, you will also get to pay for underprivileged childrens tuition. Those parents will of course tell you how wonderful the school is. The P.E coach called my son "trash" and sent me an aggressive email with the headline "talk to your son..." alot needs to change at this school with the administration and teachers. My son was bullied at this school daily and physically assualted. The school grounds are dirty and outdated. The classrooms are old with little to no technology. They built a fence around the school because it is in a very bad area and sold me on a "24 hour guard". What they dont tell you is that guard is actually for bishop moore and not SCBCS. Recently my son got sick after school in a sport and called us from the office. By the time we arrived at the school he was waiting outside BY HIMSELF, at his age, that would be criminal. BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD"
"This is the best school I have experienced for my child. The school is vey attentive to "each" child's needs, and creates a connected and collaborative atmosphere among the children, teachers, administrators, and parents. I highly recommend this school and from my own personal knowledge of founding and owning a school in the past, St Charles is "doing it right" as far as I'm concerned. St Charles far exceeds expectations both academically and administratively. As a current doctoral student enrolled in an education program, St Charles aligns consistently what is being taught, how schools, administrators and curriculum should operate. Overall this school is outstanding!!!"
"We are Extremely please with St. Charles Borromeo and I would highly recommend the school to those who are searching for a great education which will launch your student into high school and life success. If you are not familiar with St. Charles it is located on what I describe as three school campuses in one. The campuses are made up of Bishop Moore High School, Morning Star which is blessed with special need students which has their own classroom settings and staff, and St. Charles Borromeo with classes from pre-school through 8th grade. The three campus’ environment exposes the students to a unique learning and life experience. The three campuses are spiritually guided by Father Ralph the Church Pastor and Father Hector. Father Hector who is into Star Wars relates great with the students around the campus and during Church services. My opinion of Fr. Ralph is that he is a visionary with progressive plans for all the campuses. He has brought in Mr. Nadeau as the principal. Mr. Nadeau is proving he wants to continue to progress the school's standards of education along with improving physical settings of the school. Mr. Nadeau provides a venue for parents to post questions and ideas through his Coffee with the Principal events. No, not all ideas are implemented but he does explain some of the obstacles or policies that may hinder their adoptions. Mr. Nadeau’s energy and enthusiasm is contagious and is shared by his office and educational staff. You can find them and their families at night and weekend functions at the school or wherever the school participations take place. We love the creativity they use to engage the students in their studies and hands on activities. Safety is very important to us. The school staff is in the parking lot controlling and monitoring the traffic flow in the morning and at dismissal. If anyone does not believe this is a challenge, I suggest they volunteer for parking lot duty. Also on the three campuses are security officers to insure the safety of the students and staff. To get a true feeling of St. Charles schedule a visit and take a tour. Check out the activity schedule for the Church and the school and observe the interactions of the students, families, and parishioners. This is a great school with great students, parents, and staff."
