"Haven't been to Perkins in awhile, normally for breakfast. This time I went for dinner. Decided on the steak and peppers. Awful! Not a good taste. It didn't matter that there was only about 5 small pieces of steak, because I didn't want to chew on the rubber substitute anyhow. The potatoes... pitiful, the gravy....gross."
"A great place to enjoy a great breakfast. Perkins has been in the same location in Venice for as long as I can remember. I recall dining there 40 years ago, in the 1980's, and they're still serving breakfast and other American cuisine after all these years. I ordered the Potato Pancakes and was very happy with my meal. We'll be back"
"The waitress, Cindy, was totally prompt. She gave me sufficient attention, and brought me everything I needed. The food was tasty. The only thing I would change was the potatoes. My preference is to have them served with onions and peppers. The restaurant itself was clean and there was no wait when I arrived (before 8:30 a.m. on a Monday). *Here is food for thought: gluten-free bakery items would be a great option."
"Went Friday night at around 6 PM for what we had hoped was a quick dinner but ended up staying for over an hour due to how busy it was. The place was packed when we arrived but we were seated promptly. Our server was friendly but we can see that she had a lot of tables and she was very busy. Eggs were cooked the way I want them, slightly runny. Waffles were good. They have a wide range of drink selections. Also they have specials for adults who are 55+ which I thought was nice."
"Beautifully updated Perkins! After going too many months without one of my favorite places to eat on an every-day sort of day, I was thrilled to get back finally. The renovation was much needed, and left it much more modern. The night we visited it was well staffed with polished employees. The food was fantastic. I was able to meet my crazy dietary restrictions with some swaps that they were happy to do at no charge. We'll be back regularly!!"
