"I didn't realize but walked in right as they closed. However, they were super nice and said the grill was still hot and they could fix my order. I told them that was okay but they stated it wasn't a problem. I am so happy they did! I ordered the Jewish Po Bo; if you like Rubens you will love this sandwich! I am picky about coleslaw but took a chance and it was great! Definitely coming back! Thank you so much for your kindness and great food!"
"I recently visited the Lake Wales Cheese Shoppe & Deli. It is a small shop with a great selection of Michigan food. In addition to their fantastic sandwiches, they have a wide variety of cheese curds, jams, and sauces. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the staff members who was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions, and made sure that I had a great experience. The prices are very reasonable. "I have to say that this is in my top 3 sandwich shops ever! I lived in NYC years ago, and Reading PA and these sandwiches are every bit as good or better than the shops I frequented in those named places. Grace and other staff are super nice, cordial, and make some delicious sandwiches! PS: I forgot to mention the fantastic deli selections, beverages and assorted snacks. The best sandwich shop in Polk County!!!"

"Ordered for three and we shared each other's choices to get different tastes. We had an Italian, Cuban and a Philly cheese steak, they were all delish! It was hard to pick a favorite, but I think the Italian was the winner. We will be back when in the area."
