"This restaurant is a real highlight for the Sebring area; standing well above most of what is available now. Excellent food (everything I have tried) very friendly service and the atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is currently growing with outdoor dining area being added during an ongoing add/remodel. You will not be dissapointed give them a try."

"As a devoted patron of The Albatross, my family and I have frequented this establishment weekly since its opening, relishing its cuisine and cherishing the community it fosters. From the beginning, it has stood out as the premier (and only) restaurant in our neighborhood clubhouse. However, my recent experiences have left me somewhat disappointed. During a recent visit when I wasn't feeling well, I opted for a takeout breakfast, requesting a small favor due to the presence of my two small dogs. I asked the staff if they could hand the order to me at the patio's entrance, a mere five feet from their station, to avoid bringing my dogs indoors. The order was already paid for. Regrettably, this simple request was met with a no. I was surprised since they offer patio dining. I conveyed my request to a staff member over the phone, who placed me on hold to seek approval from the manager. She came back to the phone to tell me they said no. I was pretty surprised by this. Upon arrival I asked to speak to the manager. Surprisingly, the manager was not even consulted, he clarified that he would have gladly been willing to accommodate my request, had it been communicated. Despite this hiccup, I understand that misunderstandings can occur, and the manager was sincerely apologetic for the confusion. It was reassuring to learn that he was willing to extend the desired courtesy. I believe there is an opportunity for enhanced staff training to ensure smoother communication and to foster a more accommodating environment. Aside from inconsistency between drinks ordered at the bar (between bartenders *the brunette with the long hair is the best) and some small charging issues, we have been mostly happy. Overall, The Albatross remains a go-to dining spot in our neighborhood, appreciated for its cuisine and community appeal. I hope this constructive feedback serves to improve the customer experience and uphold the high standard that The Albatross has set in our beloved community."

"8/23/23 first time here. The other reviews that note how loud it is are correct. We walked in and had to wait at the hostess station for 5 minutes while she was on the phone... So yeah, it was so loud in the bar area & i was glad to have made a reservation on the dining room side but it was only a little less noisy. Our waitress was friendly and did a good job but they are in need of more staff on the floor. Especially if they want to be considered a "country club" ? That title is synonymous with over-staffing. I had the bourbon salmon with asparagus and it was a very nice portion and cooked perfect. Good flavors as well. My friend had the French onion soup (good) and the chicken Parmesan with fettuccine (good). We started with the Shrimp Fondue, I have never had it and I was very surprised how good it was and how good the chips were. Not a bad place to hang at the bar, i would imagine. There are plenty of TV's and i hear the wings are good. Saw the Bavarian pretzel on the menu (a favorite of mine) so we may return for a 'fun-not-crowded' bar experience, that could be good when you're looking for that. Drink prices are very reasonable too-"

"“ I used to have my lunch here for a while but never again!!!! What a disrespectful way to handle an incorrect order… I asked for a pizza to go and asked for extra toppings (mushrooms and olives) and I picked up a regular Fig & Goat pizza WITHOUT ANY OF THE EXTRAS and without one of the regular ingredients (arugula). When I went to tell them that they’re forgetting the extras, they just POURED RAW MUSHROOMS, ARUGULA AND OLIVES ON IT???? Julie even asked “is that enough mushrooms on it”? Well…. Yes. And so raw that we can just take off from the pizza all of them and use them to tomorrow’s breakfast omelette. Therefore I pay here every day for 2-3 people’s lunch??? A month ago we ordered 2 burgers, one of them arrived WITHOUT A PATTY. The manager was nice after that but now…? Seriously RAW MUSHROOMS???? That was THE LAST TO HAVING LUNCH OR ANY KIND OF MEALS or drinks here! This is disrespectful and unapologetic with someone who’s spending here lunchtime every day!!! Terrible place, never again!”"

"Went there with my husband and had an amazing experience!! The Steak was amazing and OMG THE CHEESECAKE (I will let you enjoy it’s perfect taste)!!! We honestly had a beautiful dinner and for once I didn’t feel like I was overdressed!:) The food was so good that it was gone (in a classy manner) within minutes! All the waiters were so amazing! And lastly, the new owner walked around and talked to everyone in such an amazingly welcome way. Truly made us feel special! Ps. Don’t miss all the art around the restaurant, truly beautiful and authentic."
