"I normally eat at China Star but they’re closed on Monday’s so I gave this place a try. To claim that you have the “Best New York Style Chinese Take Out in Sanford” as stated on the website is a misconception. The food tastes nothing like authentic New York styled Chinese food and the portions wouldn’t feed a 5yr old. This is exactly why I stick to what I know. You want authentic Chinese food with good portions go to China Star."

"The restaurant is small, but it’s fine and relatively clean. The food is really not "excellent" at least the lunch's. The price is ok for the amount of food they serve, but it doesn't taste like Chinese food. The rice is like a yellow rice, "rice a la jardinera" type. I think it could have more flavor. And I don't think the attitude of the owner is rude, is that Asians people they are very direct when speaking. Maybe she should learn to be more friendly or pleasant when dealing with the public. Since her work depends on the good treatment he provides to the customers who consume in the restaurant. And maybe the seats outside could be cleaner. There are people who like to eat outdoors. Everything is always said so that the places provide a good atmosphere, delicious food and the places always have many customers and above all! Satisfied customers with the site where they go!"

"This Has to be the worst Chinese restaurant if you can call it a restaurant in Sanford. I added a photo of the toddler size food that you get for $30 and it tasted horrible!! I had to toss half of it I couldn’t even get it down. I only went here because it’s a Monday and all the other Chinese food restaurants are closed on Mondays I told the girl behind the counter I will never go there again she acted like she didn’t care. This place makes me appreciate my regular spot China Star by walmart.. go there instead of here this place is the worst, again I say the worst restaurant in Sanford. do not go here you’re wasting your money if you do… I did"

"We used to go all the time (10+ a year min) & have since cut down drastically (maybe 2 this year). We just pick up on the way home from other areas & try new places now. The food taste is great, we love it & loved going but my issue is with value & generosity. I feed a family of 6... this is 2 chicken wings split into a bag (see pic). Everywhere else I have gone had given 4 wings. It bothers me enough to limit my visits to last minute pinches. I'm slightly ok with not getting a free soup, soda, or egg roll with our huge purchases like other places BUT don't mess with my wings man..."
