"This was our first time ever going to a McAlister's deli. We were sorta expecting a Jason's Deli type restaurant, for the most part it was, just without the salad bar. We took advantage of the 2 for $10 special. I got the broccoli cheddar soup with the grilled chicken salad and my wife got a baked potato with a pastrami sandwich. The half salad was much larger than I expected and was very good. The veggies were fresh and the chicken was still moist. The broccoli cheddar soup was enough for me to go back for by itself. My wife had no complaints about her meal either, except the olives didn't quite pair well with the potato. We left full and satisfied. We can definitely see adding McAlister's to our rotation of restaurants."
"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Order line is very short and crowded for lunch crowd. New Yorker w/Mac n cheese side: Pretty dry, bread not toasted, pretty disappointing. Mac and cheese is fair, reheated. Ruben w/ fruit side: Dry, but overall good for a rueben. Spudmax: two baked potatoes lengthwise with cheese, black olives, bacon, and NO sour cream. Good, but overall disappointing for the price. Overall, fair if there is little to no wait. Just another chain restaurant whose quality is well below standards for the price."
