While the Staff was excellent and offered top notch service it could not make up for the food that just failed to impress, often lacking flavor and taste."
"Kawachi Sushi and Bar is a hidden gem. This restaurant is in the same shopping center as Publix. Now, from the moment you go in, the restaurant is tastefully decorated. Plenty of seating at the sushi bar if that is your thing. We opted for a table. We started with soft shell crab and the tempura platter. The soft shell crab was outstanding and the tempura was also a great way to start. There are also great vegetarian options. We went with a Thai inspired dish that included seafood and Thai Basil with a little spice and a tofu bento box that included some California rolls. The service was great. Server checked with us several times was extremely helpful when ordering and provided us with lots of information. The menu is huge! We ore planning to go again. Perhaps one of the best if not THE best in terms of Asian cuisine around this area."
"Fast and delicious. Great vibe and the bar area is pretty cool, plus a bar too area in front of the sushi chef. Plenty of choices depending on what feel you want. Had the steak hibachi and it was wonderfully cooked. Ordered the steak medium rare and ACTUALLY came out medium rare! 10 stars right there. Server was sweet and checked on me regularly and even bussed the table area so my eating space was clean. Great place, will definitely be back again to try the other items."
"This is a great addition to the to the shopping plaza! Spacious dining room with a modern and clean decor. Everything we ordered was great. Sat for drinks, and sushi. We ended up ordering a couple of courses of tempura, some noodles and of course more sushi. The spicy Girl was phenomenal! Looking forward to a new place to frequent!!"
"Great Japanese fusion restaurant and fantastic service from Anna! The atmosphere was great and the decor is the best in town. The food was great and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the Crispy Spicy Salmon Roll and the Pork Katsu. We will definitely be back soon! Great opening night!"
