"I saw this restaurant today still existed so I had to go check it out. I got the sampler and some clams. The food took a while but it was because they had like a skeleton crew working. There was a one guy doing the window and the counter. He was great. He checked every order for accuracy and made them fix mistakes. I give 5/5 because he was working so hard. Food.. eh not the best but ok. The chicken was 4/5 and fish was 4/5. The shrimp was 3/5 and the clams were 3/5. The cole slaw was also a solid 3/5 and the green beans for me were 2/5. However my order was hot and fresh and correct. I would say this place is a solid 3.7 out of 5. If you want fried food and a nostalgic place it would be a great fit."

"I dad Dinner here on 9/13. There were 3 young ladies working around 7:00pm. One of the young ladies came from the cook area with a glove on one hand that she never took off. I ordered a fried catfish dinner with 6 shrimp, my friend ordered fish dinner with 6 shrimp and 2 sweet teas. The food wasn’t the quality of the chain, my coleslaw was warmer than room temperature and tasted bad. We picked over the food, because we have both worked in the food service industry as managers, and I was a GM. I really try not to complain. I know how people just try to get free food. I’m asking only if you could get a good management team in your store, do some proper training. The store wasn’t clean. The wait time was long. You are really losing money at this point. Oh yeah, there’s mold in the ceiling in the dining room. Please check your store!"
