Steak 'n Shake

"I was so happy to go to this location. Ben, the manager,was absolutely wonderful. He and his team really care about their customers and do everything in their power to make everyone happy. The restaurant was clean, the food great and overall, great!"

"I've been going to this location since it opened back up a couple of years ago. It's had some ups and downs, which is to be expected. However, it has been getting much better lately from my personal experiences. Christian is a regular employee there (possibly a manager or team lead) and is wonderful. Extremely helpful and patient. I pray that young man is recognized and is being taken care of. It's people like him that makes this world go round. He treats all customers like family and with much respect. The food is pretty swell for being Steak N Shake. Getting what I expect and the same with the shakes. The environment is friendly and relatively clean. There's always room for improvements and updates, but overall a great place and experience. The only thing negative that I have, which I've found is an overall problem with all Steak N Shake locations now. And that is the new control factor on the soda machines. Scanning your receipt to obtain your soda is ridiculous and is one small step closer to removing basic human rights. A basic problem already seen besides the strain on human freedoms is the constant lines surrounding the soda machine. It takes forever and is uncomfortable. To say the least. Regardless how big or how small... it is what it is. And this is where I'll stop within the rabbit hole. Thank you for your time."

"2023 Decent food, decent service. Not great burger construction would be my only criticism. Sauce on top of lettuce is a bit weird but whatever. Still no dry seasoning shakers on tables. Look out one way parking lot, the whole thing is one way. 2022 I used to love this place. It's still good but some things that didn't need changing have changed. You are no longer seated. You order on a kiosk immediately after you enter and then seat yourself with no instruction. There is an attendant that seems to serve the entire floor including cleaning, wiping tables, serving trays, helping with kiosks and more. He was doing a great job but was probably only doing a fraction of that before all these changes. Anyway there was also no Cajun spice or self serve condiments on the table. Seems like a small thing but that was something basically unique to S&S and I would go back just for that Cajun spice. Now I'll have to bring my own. Or just not go. Maybe they have it if I had asked, but I don't think I should have to ask for something that used to be just sitting on every table for decades. Food was good. Parking easy. Bathrooms clean (faucet shoots hard, stand back)."

"Back in 2017 or 2018, I placed an online order and when I went into this location to pick it up, they were closed for renovations. A few days later, when they were back open for business, I went in and asked a manager for a refund for the food I never received and he refused so I stop giving this location my business for years. Within the last year, I started visiting this location again. I'd say about 90% of the time, my order is missing items. The only thing positive I'd say about this location is that the food is really good. Another great example why we shouldn't raise our minimum wage. Why pay these people more money just to mess up our order constantly."
