Brian's Place

"Brian's Place was a big disappointment. We had hoped for a special evening. We arrived to learn there were 2 holiday parties with loud music. We were seated upstairs in a crowded space that felt like overflow. The bathroom was virtually inaccessible when a party was seated at the nearest table. The volume was so loud it was nearly impossible to have a conversation. The food was good but overpriced for what we received. The Italian spinach salad for $11 was tasty but small. The grouper for $32 was way overpriced. The dessert menu had no prices. We don't need to do this again for $140 for 2 people."

"My wife, sister in law, and I came in for dinner tonight, both parking lots AND the lawn were packed, yet we were seated promptly and in our choice of location! My wife and SIL had the crab claws and crab filled tostone cups as appetizers and they loved them. We all had caesar salads and they were delicious with a non-traditional latin inspired taste. We all had steaks and they were extremely tender and flavorful. For dessert we had bread pudding, cannolis, fried cheesecake, and crème brûlée and they were all excellent. The only real complaint was service from our waiter was a bit slow, refills took forever and he never brought us dinner rolls and just wasn’t as attentive as the other waiters, but all in all it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone!"

"I’ve been meaning to try this place out and it did not disappoint! I got a reservation and they confirmed and asked for my preferred seating area. Although plenty of seats were available, this was a nice touch. This was probably the best crispy grouper sandwich I’ve ever had. The fries were also cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely! They have nice indoor and outdoor seating. I sat by the water and saw some wildlife, enjoyed my book and ate amazing food. Definitely recommended!"

"In the area for the weekend to swim in the springs and explore. Last minute decision coming here but so happy we did!! Everything was beyond our expectations. Our server, Nicholas, (who I HIGHLY recommend if you come) was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable of the food menu as well as drink menu for pairing certain items. Ended up getting specials on the menu, the snapper and it was SO GOOD! If you’re in the area and looking for good food with a wonderful atmosphere and drink menu, come here!!"

"First time eating. Hands down the best meal we've had on the Nature Coast. The crab crusted filet was amazing as was the blackened grouper. Loved the craft cocktails too. Already planning to bring guests there next week!"
