"So I want to preface my review by saying I'm Cuban. My parents are from Cuba and I grew up in Miami. I know nothing compares to the food you find down in Miami or what I make at home, but it pains me to say I will never come here again. I got a café con leche which was good, a tostada with butter which was good (hard to mess up toasted bread with butter) and 2 cheese croquettes. The cheese croquettes were horrible. I took my meal to go so I didn't look at them until I got home but you be the judge. I literally took a bite and spit it out. Over fried and tasted like pure oil, not to mention I paid $3.96 for 2 of the tiniest croquettes I've ever seen. I threw them away and fried me some of the Catalina frozen brand you can find at Publix for breakfast instead. I took a picture so you can judge for yourself (yes, I know the Catalina is not only cheese, but I've had the ones that are only cheese before and they are way better). Not only does the Catalina brand bigger and taste a million times better but for the same price you get 8 croquettes. I added a frozen Catalina croquette to the picture so you can compare size."

"The atmosphere was nice was not greeted upon entry could smell food being cooked there were some regulars dining the space was just big enough to not bump into others but not move around too freely. They didn't have a menu board but did have some laminated menus that did not include pictures if that's your preferred method of ordering at a newer place. We got fruit juices a shake and they were out of a few sides but got the shrimp dish I liked it but would have been better with preferred side and also got the shredded beef which was soaked in juice but a massive portion, it doesn't include rice which I wish I had known because my side was not rice and I didn't prefer to just eat juicy meat by the forkful."

"I was craving Cuban food and decided to try this place out. Ooooh man. The Cuban sandwich was absolutely amazing. We also ordered empanadas, croquettes, and a guava pastry. The empanadas were a little dry but were still good. If you happen to be driving by Blanding Blvd. stop by and give the sandwich a try. I'll be coming back for another fo sho."

"This was my first time here. The restaurant was set up very nicely and extremely clean. The ladies working were very nice and pleasant to talk to. The bacon and Cuban bread were good, but the eggs needed seasoning. Unfortunately, they were just bland, some salt, pepper, and a little bacon grease would have given them the flavor needed."
