"I give it a three because when I first went to the office to change information I put down online application the assistant or leasing agent wasn’t friendly or helpful. It felt like I was rushed off. I left and three days later I was denied because my income was $600 short. I have forgotten to add my part time job which I thought I unloaded to online application. Just like I was rushed off in office the same with phone conversation. I just felt that it wasn’t meant for me. The vibe. The aura."

"Air conditioner is not suitable to cool apartments. They are hotel units. One vent in living room and one in each bedroom and that is it for entire apartment. Be prepared to burn up here during summer. Also, they are not well insulated."

"They should change the hours of operation at Shadow Ridge Apartments to whenever. I've been trying to work with Williams on moving in here but he's really hard to get a hold of. Out of the several calls I made to him he answered the phone I think twice. he actually called me back twice. It seems like he is almost never in the office. I can change this one star to five if I can actually move in here and have a good experience from this point forward."

"Apartments are run down, unmaintained & full of mold. Nonstop issues with parking lot noise & crime in the middle of night. Lived here just under 3 years, decided to move after our car was totaled while parked in front of our apartment, the driver was attempting to kill people standing in the parking lot. Avoid this place at all costs. We were charged $1500 for terminating our lease less than 2 months early with 60 day notice given after losing our vehicle. If you have no other choice, I’d find anywhere else but here."

"Haven't had a great experience so far. Our unit is quite run down - lots of holes in the walls and doors, paneling missing on walls, and so on. The appliances do not work well, if at all. They are slow to fix anything - our dishwasher hasn't worked since we've moved in and they've not done anything about it (and it's been FIVE months). Our AC unit was in horrible condition, which they thankfully replaced. Along with the poor air conditioning, our faucets leak (even after they "fixed" it), altogether costing us almost double in utilities. The neighborhood itself is relatively nice and well kept (other than tenants regularly leaving trash in the parking lot). Though, it can be very noisy when people play music - I've complained about this as well and they've told me to just call the cops on the tenant (though Tallahassee no longer has a noise ordinance, so police can't do anything). There are other problems, such as the management disabling all the dryers without notice or any way of accommodating for the inconvenience. Overall, it isn't the best place to live, especially for the price. There are places in the same area which offer a lot more for a lot less cost. UPDATE: After SIX MONTHS, they finally fixed my dishwasher. Now the dryers for the community have been broken for three months. And yes, they are still charging us for them. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE"
