Family Dollar

"I've been coming here for a good few weeks. I also work for Family Dollar part time, but this store has a completely different vibe from my own. Firstly, the customer service is awful. Specifically, the lady with the shorter hair has been very dismissive towards me multiple times. As someone on the spectrum, it was just a very horrible experience. Your goal in customer service is to do your job while creating a comfortable environment for everyone, not just certain people. I know full well how difficult some customers can be. But her behavior towards me the last few times is completely unacceptable, and it definitely makes the store look bad. The line was incredibly long on my most recent visit, and she watched me walk over to her line and decided to tell me she "was closed" while another one of her workers managed the line filled with many customers. Then, as soon as I was finished ringing my stuff, she opened back up. This place is not autism-friendly. It really is upsetting to see that she’s training others. Because her behavior can cause the other two people she was training to behave similarly. On top of all that, the place is really rundown and dirty, and it looks like a very unapproachable setting. To end this, please be more mindful of your actions and just try to be nice to others."

"The store was clean and a variety of items you can choose from. The young lady who checked me out was very nice. This is a great little store."

"Visited this store on Saturday, arrived after 10:00 am for some children's toys for the Toys for Tots donation this year. They had a good selection of buy one, get one 1/2 off. Also, picked up paper products of toilet paper, napkins and washing detergent. Store was really neat and organized and I told the cashier how nice it looked. Glad I stopped here today!"

"I'm afraid I can't give a good rating like others, but the stars I do give it will only be for the staff, who are usually friendly. The store itself is run down and overcrowded. The front doors are usually dirty and half-written signs are taped on it. One of the glass doors had broken, so they replaced it, but with a mismatched door as if no one even cared. I got excited recently when it looked like they were remodeling the store, but now that they're finished, it still looks the same. I don't know what happened. The refrigerators look horrendous....The fans at the bottom are halfway hanging on and are dusty. Why??? Why must we have this in OUR neighborhood? Family Dollar, if you're reading this and even care, I recognize you may have some customers who don't care, but it doesn't mean that you don't have ANY customers that don't care! It's disgusting!"
