"FANTASTIC farmers market. Something different every week. Some of the best produce you are ever going to find... (talk to Muhammad about his watermelon - you will not be disappointed. He comes up every Saturday from Macon - some of the best produce EVER.) Beautiful locally-made jewelry is always there, but something different all the time. There have been soy candles, homemade soups, gelato and sorbets, handmade purses, home-grown plants, seriously - YOU NAME IT. And the local DJ is so amazing. Plus, since the Farmer's Market is located right in the heart of downtown Lithonia, you can also stop at all the local businesses and restaurants while you are there! Talk about a win-win! Come every week - enjoy the vendors and really get to know the community of Lithonia. It is one of Georgia's true hidden gems. The people are some of the most genuine, kindest, most wonderful folks you will find, and the farmers market cannot be beat anywhere!"
