"I came in here for a quick treat for the kids for Halloween and I didn’t know what to get for them and 1 Dayshawn helped me find the right candies and toys and 2 he helped me stay in my budget all within my 30 mins break time. I’ve seen him at multiple stores but this is the first time I’ve actually interacted with him. But he always gets in the line in and out. Promotion should be coming soon for him."

"Worst employee ever. Just left there, the cashier was on a personal call Rather then ring me up. I literally had to ask, is she going to check me out after two minutes of waiting. No greetings, just rude. I had to snatch my own receipt. Like girl go home if you don’t want to do your job."

"This location is close to my home so I shop here on a regular basis. The hours of operation vary. I have come to this location MANY times during business hours and they were closed. It seems like they are always stocking which makes it hard to shop around all the mess. Many of the cashiers are rude and do not speak to you throughout your transaction. I have found that the employees that are stocking are much friendlier.,.they speak and offer assistance when you appear to be confused. A good management practice would be to have the friendly people in the front to interact with the customers…and have the anti-social employees stock…or here’s an idea… train ALL employees on how to offer fast and friendly services to their customers. I am going to have to eventually spend my money at another store if I continue to have to deal with employees that have the social skills of a rock!!!"

"Store says it opens at 9 am and there is no one here to open the doors. Time now is 9:10. There is an employee waiting outside. We have to do better in our neighborhood!"

"My area is saturated with Family Dollars and Dollar Generals, but this is one of the locations that stands out to me. It is kept much cleaner, organized and up to date than the other ones. On a recent shopping trip, I was able to find pretty much everything I needed without having to walk through a thousands of square feet super store. Even the items I needed that were missing, the manager was able to tell me when they might get them in. Both the employees were friendly and the manager was sweet, accomodating, and seemed truly interested in my business. She had a constant presence in the store, so I didn't have to play "employee hide and go seek" when I needed assistance. So I'm just going to stick with this one and the one off Covington Highway and Phillips. They run their establishments the way it should be run."
