"Sales department will tell you anything to make a sale. They lied to my elderly parents to make a sale and didn't stand on their word after they'd gotten their money. A person's word is their bond."

"Ended up going here because my usual Deere dealer didn't have the parts in stock I needed Ag Pro had everything in stock at comparable prices to my usual dealer."

"Dropped mower for repair. They kept 2 days and sent me estimate for $1250 for repair. They never looked at it. Did not even diagnose the correct repair. Showed them the brake pucks were wore out and the deck brakes. Blade engage cable was stretched and blade belt worn. They returned an estimate to replace the transmission and drive neither of which were bad. Estimate did not even include any of the necessary parts that we knew were bad. This was obvious dishonesty on their part. Picked up mower. Do not trust shop after this."

"The service department is poorly run and unorganized. It took them over three weeks to change the blades on my cub cadet, which was the only service I requested. After the lawn mower was ready, I paid in person and requested it be delivered to my home. The delivery charge was $70 to bring it ~ 4.5 miles from the shop. I was told it would be delivered that same day or the next day. The next day arrived and my lawn mower was not delivered yet. I drove up to the facility to inquire about why my delivery was not made or why no one bothered to contact me if there would be delays. I was told that the driver had some family issues and I was promised that it would be delivered on the NEXT day before I got home from work. The morning of the next day arrived and I called up to the office just to remind them of the delivery that they promised would occur. I got home from work and no delivery, so I drove back up to the office for the 3rd consecutive day. Come to find out my lawn mower was not even on the board to be out for delivery. They finally got the manager to deliver it on Friday. I called Kale the manager to explain my interaction with his staff. I explained from a customer service perspective I did not feel valued, and based on this experience I believed there should be some compensation. I should not have to pay my hard earned money and then chase after your staff to do their job. I was basically told the situation is unfortunate and that there can be delays in deliveries. He went to reemphasize the drivers personal issues, which from a business standpoint the customer should not be forced to be understanding. I was reinformed that the staff was disciplined. Despite the family issues from the driver, it is the responsibility of the company to communicate any delays to customers, which they lacked to do. Beware of the potential lack in quality of service from this location. I suggest looking elsewhere and save the headache."

"I recently had AG Pro of Macon pick up my E-120 John Deere Riding Mower because the mower drive belt came off and I needed it put back on. After not hearing from them for several days I called to check on it and was eventually told that it needed over $600 worth of work for several things. I informed the service manager that I had only requested that the mower belt be replaced and didn't want the many repairs they mentioned. At this point inquired about the costs for the requested work and learned that they were billing me for diagnostic fees which were never discussed with me, lowering the mower deck, and other things that I was completely unaware of and had never been consulted about. I told the service manager that the other additional costs should have been explained to me prior to doing anything extra. After a lengthy conversation he informed me that the cost for the pickup/return of the mower, replace the belt, and diagnostic fee would be just a little over $200. I still had a grievance concerning the tacked on diagnostic fee and told him so. In a subsequent call (because he never even got back in touch with me) to AG Pro when the belt was replaced, the service manager informed me that the total was approximately $373. I protested this amount and requested that he speak with the store manager about what they were charging. I explained that they failed to inform me of additional costs prior to doing anything on the mower and that I felt it was unfair and unprofessional. I agreed to pay so that I could retrieve my mower (my grass was over 1 foot tall at that point and I needed it returned), but that I wanted to file a formal protest about the excessive amount. My subsequent conversation with the store manager (they didn't bother to get back in touch with me, AGAIN) ended up with being told they were not going to provide any credit/refund and that since I paid already it was just "assumed" that I agreed to everything, which was COMPLETELY UNTRUE. Their professionalism and customer service was disappointing, to say the least.."
