Vick Tires

"If I could give Vick Tires a zero star I would of and I would be very surprised if these bunch of bullies are still there by this time next year, this tire shop is by far the worst I’ve ever been to, and I do a lot of traveling all round the U S and have been to many tire shops over the years. The 5 star reviews this place have is obviously false and left by the conmen that work there, well I know through a friend of a friend that William Harris who left one of the 5 star review work there, so there you have it, I had a slow leak in one of my tires and drove to the this place as it was the nearest to me at the time, the guys got on the job right away as they were not busy, looking back now I’m not surprised why they weren’t busy, at first they tried to charge me $70 to repair the tire when I said, don’t you think that’s a little bit expensive, Wally number 2 comes out and says the tire is no more good, it’s punctured on the sidewall, you’re gonna need another tire, I said well how much will that be, he said $90. Being that I hadn’t much of a choice and knew that $90 for a used tire was also a bit much I said ok, go ahead, the two idiots changed the tire and then asked me for $100 , I ask why a 100 when you said 90, it’s $10 for disposal charge he said . I paid the $100 and went on my way, when I got on the highway my car was shaking all over the place, it was not shaking before I brought it the tire shop, at this point the car is not safe to drive so I bring it back right away to the shop, I said to the buddy my car is shaking all over the place I can hardly keep it on the road, I was stunned, when he replied with , WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT. There is professionalism right there I thought. I said what I would expect is my car to be running ok as it was before especially after giving u a $100, to fix it, did you even do the balancing, I asked I’ll balance it again he said and so he did, but there where no change when I got back on the highway . I just know there were no point in going back to these idiots again I got to my destination and the next day I took my car to a difference tire shop where the chap there told me whoever sold u this tire should be in jail . The tire was warped and very dangerous. The fellas at Vicks knew full well what they were doing, they took my good tire and me a worser one while charging a $100 I got ripped off. Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. I certainly won’t be going back there and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone."

"Please DO NOT COME TO VICKS! I was told he put brand new tires on my truck and I was on the side of the road in less then a week! Fraud! It’s not worth it! Not sure how he is still in business but soon or later he will be closed down. He is not honest and will tell you on thing and do another. If you need anything done please go to else where. This place is not even last resort!!! Don’t waste a penny a Vicks. You have been WARNED!"

"AVOID THIS PLACE AT. ALL. COSTS!!! I have been wanting to write this review for a while now and finally have gotten a chance to leave this much needed review. My brother took his car (Yellow mustang) to get all four tires replaced. My brother is rather frugal and probably the reason why he ended up taking his car to this location, but you get what you pay for (sadly). Still NEVER a justification for how they left the rims of his car. My guess is while unscrewing the rims of the car, the machine this tire place uses to remove the rims ended up scratching all areas around the bolts. Not ONE but ALL FOUR RIMS were completely scratched up. My brother came home to inspect the work done and only THEN noticed what had been done to the car. He was so distraught since he loves his mustang and takes great pride in it. I truly felt sorry for my brother so offered to to help him in making the claim since my brother doesn't speak a lot of english. When we went back to the location they were closed but has some workers still inside the building. They saw us but did not bother opening the door and since the car is YELLOW and super recognizable I'm sure they already knew what the situation was. At that point my blood was boiling since the workers who had caused all this couldn't care less!!! We left the location without ever confronting them. I truly don't wish this experience to anyone. My poor brother ended up having to fix the damages himself and even then the scratches on the rims never fully erased. Please avoid the stress, headache and entirely bad experience and take your business elsewhere. Can't emphasize it ENOUGH, just don't go here."

"If I could rate it at 0 stars I would. There is a reason they are not busy. I went here in a pinch that needed a valve stem changed and it also had a sensor on it. The guy there gave me the price and I was fine with it because I was in the pinch. Soon as I left there and I get on the expressway My tire is shaking that he changed the valve stem on. I didn't have time to stop then and go back but I tried to call and got no answer. So today I'm in the area again and I just pull up on them. I explained the situation and now he wants to charge me extra to balance my tire. When he knows anytime you break the seal on the tire the tire needs to be balanced. So he gives me this whole story about how my tires are too big and you would have to charge me to balance them because his machine cannot hold the weight it puts wear and tear on his machine. That's not my problem That's the cost of doing business which he is clearly not good at. I will never spend another dime at this place because they do not know what customer service is and have a bevy of excuses of why something wasn't done. Enter at your own risk."

"Called over to Vicks Tires spoke with who I assume was Vick and simply gave a pleasant Greetings and then began to ask if he sold used tires however before I could continue he had hung up on me. So I called back and spoke with him again and informed him it appeared he had hung up on me and he proceeded to say he did cause when you call him you need to talk cause he's very busy. Extremely rude and unacceptable customer service or shall I say lack thereof. Now I've had people in the past tell me he was rude however I had never attempted to obtain Tires from him in the past and based on this experience I surely won't attempt to in the future."
