"The manager needs to quit if he doesn't like his job. Car still there after a week for a tire change after they broke something. Don't bring you car here if that manager is still in charge. The assistant managers was way more helpful and had better customer service skills I will be contacting corporate. I'm a vet and are really disappointed with the they commits and the way he handle this when his tech made the mistake and destroy the threads on my bmw and had to replace the wheel hub.."

"I bought a new set of tires with a warranty. Came in one time to get a nail out. The manager was the one who helped me. He didn’t plug it and said I had to buy another tire. He had me wait over an hour looking for a tire. Then when I walked back outside to discuss the tire again, he wrote the wrong size down! The tire I needed was in stock. He charged over $150 while I had 90% tread on the tire. I went in two weeks later to get another tire replaced under the warranty, then the assistant manager Robert charged me the correct price of $28 just to swap out the tire, no installation. I went to them a few days ago to fix my AC. They tried to charge me. $1700!!! I immediately called another shop, asked how much it would cost to fix the same problem. It was $850!!! I told the manager about all of this when I came in and he was so confrontational. I only got as far as telling him about the price differences on the tire. When i first started telling him., he instantly said the Assistant manager was wrong in charging me so little. Come to find out the manager read the TIRE TREAD GAUGE WRONG which is why he charged so much. The conversation went no where because he did not want to take any blame and was confrontational in front of their employees and did not want to fix or rectify the situation. We didn’t even get to the estimate on the AC. I asked for my vehicle and was waiting for about 5 minutes. I look in the garage area, 3 employees are huddled around my vehicle IN THE BAY and one WAS SLEEPING!! I took my Vehicle to Villa Rica Automotive where the did a separate diagnosis(same problem), fixed it for the half the price that was estimated and did it under 24 hours. Pep Boys does not care about you as a customer. They have so many people coming in that they don’t care to loose customers. They over charge and for things not needed like belts, use of towels tools and charge an extra fee to WARRANTY THEIR WORK AND PARTS! Why go to a shop if if I have to pay extra just for them to stand behind their work?!?!?!"

"The worst experience ever. I got my brakes and rotors replaced and a month later, I was having issues with driving my vehicle. I went to get it looked at by a mechanic and found that my brake cylinder was missing a bolt and was causing it to engrave into the rim on my vehicle. Took it back to Pep boys to get it situated on a Friday and was told to leave my vehicle over the weekend because they couldn’t look at it until Monday. They didn’t care to even try to help me after me telling them that would be impossible since that’s my only vehicle and I use it and needed it to even get home. I’m new to the area and didn’t even have anyone to pick me up to get me home but nonchalantly was still told that my only option was to leave it for the weekend or bring back Monday. Took it back Monday, they put the bolt back in the caliber but tried to tell me they don’t know how it came out and the tech told me he watched the person put the bolt in the month before. My rim is still damaged but they refuse to fix or replace it. I was told “it’s just a rim”, it’s just a scratch. No care or concern for their customers and their negligence of peoples vehicles. I didn’t bring my truck in with a scratched rim so why do i have to accept that it stays that way due to their negligence. Pics attached!"
