"I called at 10 am on 2/11/23 was told we didn’t have a tech in your area until about 4 pm. I said that was fine told me had to pay a $85 service fee over the phone I said I’ll pay cash when the person got here. They said the person will call 30 minutes before they get here. The guy called me @12 and said I’ll be there shortly I called him at 1 to see estimated time of when he will be here due to them telling me at 4. He told me 20 minutes he was at my house in 10 minutes. When he got here he didn’t introduce himself just gave my husband a card. He was on his cellphone the whole time. While checking the dryer I asked how much will it be and he ignored me and fixed the issue in 5 minutes said it was a fuse he proceeded to give my husband the invoice which was $280. The actual piece was $4 this company is a rip off will not use again."

"I called about my dryer not working!! And they came out same day, Genesis the great tech was so nice and explained everything thoroughly, He went over all options with me!! Very well said all the details!! Nice guy!! Thank you!!"

"This is an addendum to my earlier review. My wife had a virus during the first review and I couldn't get her side of the story. The repairman DID IN FACT tell my wife, the $85 service fee would be credited against the cost of the total repair. I was told THE SAME THING when I booked the service AND approved the repair in a second phone call. Even when I challenged these crooks, they refused to credit the $85 service call. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. Thieves. AVOID Appliance Repair Sofkee!! I'll be reporting them to the BBB."

"The good: Repairman showed up during the promised timeframe. Repairman was polite, knowledgeable, and did a good job repairing our Maytag dryer. The bad: The $85 service/diagnostic fee was described as a service/diagnostic fee that would be applied to the total cost of the repair. The additional charge for the repair was not described as IN ADDITION to the $85 service/diagnostic fee at the time of payment. No invoice was left after the repair. Upon request an invoice was e-mailed that was generated the same day as the request for the invoice, was it created out of thin air to match the charge? I don’t know, but communication should have been better with a clear understanding that I would be paying half the price of a new dryer to have a $37 (Amazon) heating element installed. Bottom line: Maybe I’m wrong and $293 is a fair price for a $37 part + 1.5 hours of labor and drive time. But if it’s not a fair price, I can’t in good faith recommend this company"
