"Welcoming atmosphere large book selection. There’s a Starbucks at this location adding to the ambiance, they do an excellent job with the coffee. My hazelnut latte was piping hot :) There’s more than books to peruse which is something I love about B&N you can read or shop or both at your own pace. You can sit down and read and enjoy your beverage. There was a local author doing a book signing the day I visited. had an annual sale this day. Highly recommend this location."
"Staff are super helpful and knowledgeable. The Starbucks at this location seems to charge differently that the store down the street for some reason, but the drinks and food are good. There are places to sit and read if you want to. I wish however that their lego section was larger."

"My wife and I have visited this store quite often over the past fifteen years as customers purchasing books for ourselves and our grandkids. From that initial visit we always thought of this bookstore as a special experience and it has remained one over the years. This past weekend I and my wife got to experience this bookstore from a different perspective. I am an author, and Barnes & Noble allowed me to have an event at their Macon location where I sold and autographed copies of my book, Lost in Love. It was a great experience, and I want to personally thank the manager Terrell Williams, his assistant Cody, and the entire staff. They were fantastic and I am truly indebted to them for the effort they made. It was a very successful event, and a great measure of this success was because of their effort."
