"I called and made an “appointment” for my son to get his locs retwisted. The individual (who said she was Emily) who I spoke with said that it would be $80.00. I dropped my son off and left. When he was almost done, he texted me saying that the price was now $100.00 because she had to “make the locs so small”. When I saw my son’s hair, I was in disbelief…… A MESS! (I won’t embarrass him by posting the pic). After leaving her shop, he went to the barbershop for a lineup. The barber asked him who did that to his hair and told him that it would have cost less and looked better if one of the girls at his high school had done it. I ALWAYS go to Aicha’s on Old Nat’l, but I thought I’d try this shop because a couple of friends have been there and and their hair looked nice. Plus, it’s here in Douglasville. I could go on, but I’ll stop here. Emily’s? It’s a no for me."
"Great customer service! Terrible job on my hair. If you value your edges DO NOT GO HERE!!! I Had a terrible headache after her doing my hair ! Had to take out 3 days later and have it redone! Upon taking it out she used supppper small sections of hair, hence my headache! Barely could close my eyes!!! Go up the street to Mama P. They care about hair and your edges!!"
"I had a wonderful experience getting my hair braided at Emily’s!! They were very gentle and personable, the braiders were VERY professional and listened to what I asked and did it the exact way I asked!! The price is so low for the wonderful service and job they did with my hair!! Definitely will come back!!!"
