"I could not have asked for a more experienced surgeon then Dr. Rice. Before surgery, he explained the whole process step by step. Any questions I had were answered where I could understand. Kept my wife and family informed through out the surgery from beginning till I was in recovery. After surgery, he kept us informed of my progress. I really liked, he always gave me encouragement. Great bedside manner. My surgical scares were really minimal. Great Job!!!! The whole staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rice to anyone who needs a great heart surgeon. "Dr. Rice visited my husband in Hilton Head Island, from over 240 miles away from his home base in Augusta GA. My husband was diagnosed with 3 blockages in his heart and Dr. Rice came to the rescue. He explained the procedure in detail and had his PA follow up with any questions. During the surgery, I was updated every hour and half about the procedure and how my hubby was doing. It is day 3 and Dr. Rice will be on his way back home but, he has been here everyday checking on my husband. His bedside manner is over the top. I would recommend him to anyone who would have to undergo this procedure."
