"Scheduling is a nightmare, even established patients must wait 30-90 days for an urgent or return visit. Frequently, I've been left medication-less because of the inability to be seen before medication ran out. Good luck to you getting a med refill sent to your pharmacy in such a crisis, when you're out of meds and can't be seen for weeks. I was left SOL more than once. They are supposed to be treating anxiety and trauma not CAUSING more of it. Dealing with this clinic has been distressing...the ridiculous scheduling availability, difficulty ordering refills, only end up seeing a different and often over-confident resident (that's a student, not a Dr!) each visit and never able to communicate with a psychiatrist. A resident thought it would be appropriate to eliminate well-working anxiety medication from a severe panic disorder patient who had recently suffered a traumatic assault. Resident suggested the panic patient visit an ER each time the panic attacks were too overwhelming. The ineptitude is fierce here."

"As a patient of the Augusta University Behavioral Health & Psychiatry I'm happy that they are around. I like most of the ladies at the front desk with one exemption. The reason for this exemption is I showed up for two appointments after having her check me out with a card in my hand informing me of the appointments. I show up for these two appointments and I wasn't scheduled for anything at all. She is also the one that when the other ladies are not available you have to stand in line to get checked in because she'll forget. No one's perfect but really?"
