"As a student of Master Kim's for over 8 years and now being an instructor at this school, I have experienced only support coming from Master Kim. Through his teaching I think that I have become a better person. Even though taekwondo is a self defense sport, there are also lessons in topics like respect, learning to focus, etc. These are the parts that I believe develop younger kids to become better people. The added bonus is the feeling of security knowing you can protect yourself if needed. Master Kim's approach with his kids is to inspire self confidence in them, and allow them to discover that the only limit to their ability is their own mentality.
