"They lie about the return policy just to have you shop at the store I called 1800 Kroger's they told me I can return to any Kroger within a 30 day window and I will get my refund back the way I paid so I try and do a return and they tried to give me a gift card why would I want a gift card if Walmart has it cheaper and you guys won't price match so basically they force you to shop with them cause they not giving any money back even with the receipt"

"Worst experience ever! I hate to sound like the angry millennial, but come on!! My first job at 15, with a work permit, was at a grocery store as a cashier and these children fail in comparison! From whoever the night manager is on down!! The bell went off notifying them that there was a truck at the back door and the manager said loudly, “they gonna wait 30 minutes, they can ring all they want”……meanwhile, the shelves are BARE!!! They literally NEED the truck! Then the young lady running the self checkout line asked another young lady to check me out because i had quite a few items. I let her know i had 2 separate orders and she proceeded to ring everything up together because she was too interested in ignoring what she was doing (her job) and constantly talking to the young man about what or if he can cook! Once i let her know the orders were separate she lacklusterly took items off and again didn’t pay attention because there were still items on the order that shouldn’t have been!! The entire night crew needs to go! They’re more interested in clowning and joking that actually working!! If you don’t want to work then go home because CUSTOMER SERVICE doesn’t exist with anyone who was on the front end tonight! Ugh!!"

"The fact you go in reduces the price on items but decides to put all the items in the cart for the employees only. I've worked in retail, and I know this goes against company policies here as well."

"Every time I visit it surprises me with deals and items I didn't expect. Clean with helpful customer service."

"When we require less of those we employee we inevitably set only ourselves up for failure. The devil is in the details. Jars and soft bread don’t belong in the same bag. Meats only in a bag. Produce only in a bag. Eggs can be bagged with a loaf of bread on top….etc…. It’s whatever “fat pockets” Kroger executives. Why would this even be a thing?!? Pride has no place anymore. Setting up your loyal customers to expect less because you undervalue training will hit eventually."
