"Well, they were good in pinch for some last minute stocking stuffers last year but recently stopped by, 9:03AM; store should've been open at 9AM. However, I saw a worker walking towards the door, so I thought. Put my head down to put my phone in my pocket, and looked up, she disappeared. Ok, I figured they're running a lil late, she'll open or say something shortly - 9:06AM & nothing. It would've been nice to be acknowledged, and atleast tell me something. I could've sat in my vehicle and possibly waited but ended-up leaving."

"Worst Family Dollar. I came here one time 2 yrs ago to buy 2 small things….. Now employed here for only 3 days . What a disgusting experience!!!!!!!! I asked the New Asst manager Sam ( who is new and been at Family Dollar for 3 wks ) do you guys mop and or sweep the floor ? Nope , he said!! I asked this because the floor is OMG disgusting. Expired doughnuts on the shelf that I was going to purchase, fruit on shelves expired since April 2022. I asked him what do you do with them, does these items get removed, he did not know. I said , I need to look at the dates from now on if I’m purchasing chips or anything to eat in here. Wth !! This place is dusty , dirty and just NOT sanitary. They do not wipe the counter down for nothing. They do not wipe the key pad for nothing!!! How many times people touch that ??!!!! They do not train!!!!!! I kept asking him questions regarding what he was scanning , he would not show me. Hey , no problem. Don’t show me. But I am new and was told per Maggie , she was going to train me. She was not present on the wknd I was there. But I’m told , I cannot just stand around. Then show me what I need to do Ms Pam !!!!! Not once I was shown how to perform the job. Again was NOT told. I absolutely had lots of questions and I was told very little of this or little of that. And they ( Sam and Ms Pam) laughed at me. So basically figure it out on my own. Walk around the store to See where the items go. I took the initiative and worked out of a box and placed items on shelves .Figure out where they belong since a lot of areas SKU # did not have it on display. This location needs to be shut down. The store is nasty . Period!! Items on the floor by the T-shirt / socks area and sandals area. Hair section , things on the floor. Manager Maggie is very nice but did not inform me of these conditions. My fault , I should have looked at the store and tour the conditions myself before accepting the position. I would not be surprised if rodents got in this store. Plus the AC does not work. The store is stuffy and the doors remain close. Who can work under those conditions? Only nasty people can. There is no key to use the restroom. Manger has one key to the clean restroom but the 2nd restroom I was told was nasty. I asked this , why isn’t it clean ?? Why if employees are working here, why are they not cleaning it behind themselves??? Sam the asst manger gave a pathetic excuse . So I had to wait til I got off to go home to use the restroom. Smh !! Makes no sense all the cleaning supplies this store carries and this store looks like this. This is a PT job for me but not any more !!!! Applicants beware of working here. It’s not conducive to work under unsanitary conditions. Not worth working here and not getting adequate training. That’s just my experience and opinion."

"I had to visit this store because another store that I had went to did not have paper towels. Thankfully family Dollar had paper towels. I didn't really get to look too much but they have some great deals going on. I would recommend this store. The cashier was friendly. And they were stocked with everything under the sun which is a good thing in these days."

"Was trying to see if I took photos but Jordyn & Alondra were great for this place. I felt right at home. One more in the isle. She pointed me to the Reese Peanut Butter cookies and one other item. This was the past Sunday around 1 or 1:30pm daytime. I was so inspired I wanted to join the team! Great job, guys!"
