Piggly Wiggly Phenix City

"I'm only giving them 2 stars because there are some new employees and they are more friendlier than the odd bunch of people working there. One guy that works there, I avoid going in his line if at all possible because we had an exchange of words over his rudeness. It smells, and I steer clear of all meat items. I only visit because it's close to my home for canned items or chips and frozen foods. If I have time to go somewhere else, I always do, and that's 98% of the time. It has declined in the last decade, and I used to be a frequent shopper in the past. I even reached out to corporate about the incident with the guy I mentioned and left a message without someone following up on my call because the on duty manager just stood and watched without trying to remedy the situation. This is not an angry review because the incident I mentioned happened over a year ago, but it keeps popping up to give this store a review, so here it is!!!!!!!"

"Dishonest hiring practices. Advertises positions on job sites that they have no intentions on filling. They just want to appear as if they’re hiring but in reality all positions are “filled”."

"My very favorite Pig store & one I will go out of my way to shop at is the one on Hwy 280 in Phenix City, Al. Always stocked.. Meat market is helpful to get what you want if they can.. right down to the cashiers.. u go guys! Only issue I have is the bagging.. I have to remind them I'm old & not to bag to heavy.. thanks y'all."

"Update: once again I am still having issues with the same cashier. I know one of the managers she's my old boss and she won't do anything about it. It's ridiculous that customers get treated the way I do. I don't see how this cashier got lead cashier with the nasty attitude she has. I will not be going back on her shift. And if I continue to have issues with the staff piggly wiggly will loose my business all together. If I could give zero stars I would! This place is so rude. Just about everytime I go here There's a problem. There's only 2 people that work here who knows the meaning of customer service. Everyone else are complete jerks. Even the managers are so rude. The only reason why I still shop there is for convince. This morning i went there to get butter and milk and the lady threw my receipt away. I told her I needed my reciept she tells me oh well its in the garbage. I told her no that has my information on it I want my receipt. She did give it to me after arguing with me for a couple minutes. You ahould ask the customer if they want the receipt before throwing it away!"

"Prices to high you don't get nothing for your money. Something got to give. 5 items $35.00 Come on. That's price gauging and it need to stop. Last trip there."
