"This is hands down the best BBQ in GA. I've tried a lot of local and chain restaurant BBQ in both North and South GA and you just can't beat Boyd's. The meat is consistently tender, and the flavor (even before their sauce) is absolutely delicious. It's not too smokey. The meat doesn't have any hard chunks, and is shredded to perfection. I couldn't ask for more from a BBQ sandwich. My other favorite item on their menu is the fried okra! It's breading is top notch and it's not overcooked which is easy to do with okra. It's got great flavor and while I am partial to my mama's cooking, this fried okra is SUPERIOR to even her's. If you're reading this and you are ever in Bainbridge, I recommend paying a visit to this place! I promise you've never had tastier food!"

"Had to take a trip to Bainbridge for business and we decided to have lunch at Boyd’s. It’s a counter service order restaurant with servers that deliver your food and check up on you for refreshed drinks. The pork was good - a little too mushy - but great flavor. My husband had a hamburger which was delicious with homemade french fries. The homemade pound cake tasted just like his grandmother’s- and he loved it."
