"Stopped here for lunch today, after doing some Google searches for restaurants in Bainbridge. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic. Fried chicken was moist, tender, and not the least bit greasy. I had greens and field peas, with their fried cornbread. Absolutely outstanding food. The service was also amazing. The lady behind the bar was super friendly and helpful as she explained how everything worked. (It looks like a buffet, but it’s a cafeteria style thing with meat and two sides, plus a bread. And while it’s not “all you can eat”, it’s all I could eat!) it was also the cleanest restaurant I have been to in years. The place was spotless, including the restrooms. And all this for $8.25 a plate. Yes, you read that right. As of 3/20/2023, I got a huge plate of amazing food that was fresh and homemade, for less than it cost to eat a greasy cheeseburger and cold fries from Hardee’s or Wendy’s. This place is definitely a do-over. Thanks to the wonderful staff for a great experience today!."
