"I visited the restaurant on 2/12/24. The restaurant is a little dark, a few more lights would be nice. The young man taking my order was very helpful and the female cook was really nice. One cook came out and he really needs to pull up his pants, and another cook in the back could slow down on the four letter words or be a little quieter. For the food, I got the Cadillac Chicken sandwich with the Brunswick stew on the side. The food was very very good and I can’t wait to come back in town and try other menu items."
"First time trying this restaurant and it has room for improvement. We got the brisket plate with collard greens and mac n cheese and a combo plate with brisket and chicken. 1st) we never received the chicken 2nd) the brisket was really dry and had no flavor so you will indeed need sauce 3rd) the meat portion was really small. The collards were the best part and the mac n cheese was alright but it was a ton of cheese and barely any noodles. I was quite surprised as they had really good reviews. For the price and the food in general, I can’t say that I will be a returning customer"
"Was in the mood for some good BBQ and this place delivered. I got the pulled pork sandwich and BBQ fries. Was confused and thought the fries were a side option, but it turned out they were another entree. If I would’ve asked I’m sure they would’ve cleared it up. Everything was delicious and portions were good. Dining experience is nothing fancy - very relaxed self seating, but pretty homey. Got the impression that a lot of locals eat here so that’s always a good sign in my book."
"We both had brisket plates. The brisket was good but ours was served cold. The bbq sauces were nice. The mac n cheese was a bit odd being made with shells rather than macaroni and the cheese sauce was boring… seemingly overpowered by an egg flavor. The baked beans & potato salad were both excellent."
"Food was deliciously fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant for BBQ. The banana pudding was as if my mom was in the kitchen cooking it. Definitely made from scratch!!! We arrived, and there wasn't a long wait to place a food order. Nice atmosphere inside. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted us as we came to the counter. We shall upon our next road trip adventure."
