Waffle House

"The waitress named Stephanie, and the cook who's name I didn't catch (Destiny maybe? Sorry man, you were great!) were doing a great job tonight after the other employee ditched them. The other employee was sitting outside when we pulled up, and didn't come back in until we were done with our meal. The catch is that service was a little slow due to the volume of calls and to go orders, one large family coming in, and only two people working. I do not mean to disparage those two employees by that, they were doing the best they could given that this other employee ditched them for AT LEAST 30 minutes, probably longer. Stephanie was covering the entire floor instead of just her area. The cook was throwing down and getting orders out as quick as he could. Our meals hit the spot after we had been out in the cold for hours."

"Dude just go hungry. Let me preface by saying I love Waffle House. But dang. Was one of two tables. Sat there without our drinks for 15 minutes after our order. Which came out wrong. Like twice."

But stopping for breakfast at 6am and having a wait staff that can't run coffee, drinks respond to phonecalls and bring food in under an hour is pitiful. I feel bad leaving a review like this but the interaction I had here was painful and if I'm traveling through this way again I'll be sure to remind myself that this waffle house did me dirty."

"Never have I gone to a waffle house this nasty. The tables were like this the whole time we were here. No employee spoke when we came in, instead of starting our order, they weren't busy, decided to not only go out for a cigarette, but also did not wash their hands up on returning to the food prep area. Waitress stood over us while we were looking at the menu which made us uncomfortable. Fresh gloves were also not used when working with new foods."
