"So many people working at this location as sluggish and depressing as possible. No greeting when you enter, no assistance when you have a question, and even worse customer service! Four families in line and a single register open, Leah comes from being on her phone at the door to answer the phone looks at the line and walks back to her phone and stands at the door. After nearly 15min of the cashier dealing with the same customer… she asks for help over her headset from two different men. A man comes to the front and instead of coming to the register he tells Leah to go the register so he can stand lazily at the front door bent over and she makes hand talking gestures to him out of laziness, proceeds to ring us up without saying a word. Looks at the man laughs and she tells us our total. I will never come back to this location. Their selection SUCKS and their people would be unemployed at my store front, period."

"Although partially my fault for not realizing this when I grabbed it. I’d like to know why I have to check for this at all living in GEORGIA!!! I just purchased what I thought was a 30 round Magpul AR P-Mag. I get home and realize that it is a 10 round mag that is full size like a 30!!! This is NOT CALIFORNIA!!! Already in the process of converting it back to a freedom mag."

"I shop at Academy because they put one in our community, not because it's more cost convenient or cheaper (Amazon is more convenient). Using their online shopping however has given me a new perspective. Ordered online- cool. But what shows up in a broken, topless shoebox is marked clearance and cheaper than what I paid. What manner of business is THAT???? Needless to say...it's going back and I want what I paid. Geesh..."

"10-2-22 WARNING this will be long. There is a video available here and I think it's about 30 minutes long. First time here. Located in Conyers Georgia off of exit 82 Conyers Monroe. This academy sports is in a new shopping center that was just built which also includes a Northern tools, floors and more and a Honda store. I've never been to an academy sports so this store is definitely new to me. In the front of the store they have a place that's just for carts and then once inside they have two push wheelchairs along with one motorized wheelchair or scooter. Very nice young lady at the front door greeting people. If you go to the right that begins the fishing area with all the lures and tackle boxes and rods. After that is the camping area where they had a lot of yeti paraphernalia. Once you leave the camping area it's the grilling area where they have all the grills, smokers, and seasonings. Once you leave the grilling area you fall into the hunting area, with all of the bows and arrows, pellet guns, pellet ammo, knives, axes, and more. When you leave that area you come upon the actual guns which is still in the hunting area but separate. Lots of different ammo, gun safes, binoculars, sites, scopes, and much more. A following that area is the camo wear. Here is all the camouflage clothing and shoes you can find. Towards the back of the store you end up going through the shoe department which is also the sporting area with shoes, socks, exercise wear, and more. Once you're out of that area you end up at the back wall of bikes. There's also some light exercise equipment, resistance bands, bike helmets, pads, and more. After leaving that area is all of the heavy exercise equipment such as treadmills, weights, kettlebells, boxing gloves, and more. Which leads us to the fitness section. There were trampolines, standalone weights, benches,etc. When you leave that area you go into the actual individual sports baseball, tennis, racquetball, golf, softball, soccer, football, volleyball, and track."
