"Rented a car. I told the associate I was driving to Tennessee and dropping off in TN. So a 1 way trip. The associate put the trip as a return back to Lagrange, GA. When I went to return the car, I was informed by the owner of the chain store that it was a round trip and to return it would be a $300 fee. So they were going to charge me a $300 fee for their mistake. I called their customer service and had it changed...No issue on their end to change it.....it was a $75 difference for for a one way rental. The owner NEVER offered avis customer service as a solution. He was trying to bully me for $300. Shady as hell and what a **** treatment. You don't charge huge fees for mistakes made by the company."
"If I could leave no stars I would. We called today to reserve a vehicle, they said they had cars available we said ok go ahead. They ran my card and charged me triple the cost of rental then called me to tell me they have no cars available. And to top it off now I have to wait on my money to be returned to my card because they messed up. Customer service was no help all they cared about was the reservation didn't even care about the situation of us being charged the way we were. this is not how to treat customers especially when they have never rented a vehicle from here before.. I'm very disappointed and will never recommend this place to anyone."
"Avis in general is always professional but the LaGrange site is amazing. Greg always goes above and beyond to get the car you need at the most economical price. The rental process is always organized with very little wait time to pickup and drop off. The facilities are always clean and the cars are clean and everything has been checked on them before you take it on the road."
