"Called and was told they could help install a bike pedal. Arrived and was told they couldn't, but could take bike and have installers fix it. Would not give receipt of bike and claimed they were doing me a "favor." I expressed concerns about no receipt but manager was condescending and told me to watch a YouTube video instead."
"We came rushing in 10 minutes before they were supposed to close to grab a cage because we had just found kittens. We expected the staff to be a little put out since we were coming in so last minute, but we were instead greeted with a smile and asked if we needed any help, and were pointed in the right direction. Another associate in the back stopped what he was doing and also helped us look for what we needed. We went back a few days later for some shoes and again all the associates were super friendly and we left with what we needed."
"Academy Sports and Outdoors has everything you need for your recreational activities. I can find the things I need and some items I didn’t know existed for my sporting pastimes. "I shop here mainly for hunting and outdoor supplies. Even with the current “ammo shortage” that is going on this Academy Sports usually has what you need, or something similar in stock. From cheap range rounds to personal protection they usually have a decent selection of both. Knowledgeable staff and large selection of EVERYTHING. One of the better large sporting good stores I have been to. 5 start all the way."
