"So I recently was at this particular store and was told. Something that I was found quite interesting . I had two young men that I’m sure would know anything that they did have to google when it came to cars I had just changed the light bulb on my Chevy Silverado truck on the passenger side and the check engine light came on … so here where things get interesting after a asked the young man to read the code. And realized that it came on because I took lose the a couple of things to get to the light. I asked him to reset the check engine light I was told you all have a policy to not reset the check engine light that they would have to be a certified mechanic to do so. In all my years of patronizing O’Reilly’s I have never heard of this. I also made sure I asked what is his policy and the young man with glasses stated that this is your policy please follow up with me out of curiosity."
