"Took my car in for routine oil change and received news I didn’t want to hear. I need to replace passenger side CV axel and tire rod end. It’s amazing how I just went into the dealership a couple of days ago to have them to replace a part they left off. It’s amazing how they didn’t catch the busted boot on my axle. It’s like they wait till it’s damaged then want to fix it. Mr. Kurt at Mavis on Dallas hwy told me what I needed and Guaranteed me he will beat the dealers price. I told him I didn’t have the money or time right now. He told me the severity of me driving on a bad boot, and what could happen. I was a tempting to take the Less expensive way out. He explain to me that the labor would be about the same and it will be best for me to get a new CV axle. He could see the worry on my face and told me it’s just routine maintenance. He reassured me that no other major issues was to my car. This made me feel a lot better that he took the time out to talk to me and not downplay it but just reassure me that it could be a lot worse. He was honest and took his time out for a client doing the busy schedule. I really appreciate that.. they have a new customer in me"

"Had an appointment. After an hour of watching the "technician" walk around cursing like a sailor and doing nothing, I finally got another (older) employee to check on my ticket. Said the nail was in the wall and could not be repaired, must be replaced. Went elsewhere and got my tire repaired in 20 minutes. The nail was NOT in the wall."

"On Sept 15 I called to order 1 tire, paid $25 for deposit they said tire will be in Tuesday, and also needed them to check the tmps on that side, also asked if I could bring in my truck for tire rotation, Made appt for 11am on Sept 19. On Sept 18 at 830am they called to confirm appt. At 915am they called again to confirm 11 am appt. On Sept 19 we get there, they check us in. After 15 minutes my husband says is tire here, they look and come back to say no, it's on the truck. So they work on my truck, got truck back 1 tire had 70, 2 had 63 and 1 had 61 of pounds of air. So we leave told them to call when tire came in. At 215pm they call said tire was in, told them be there in 30 mins, 10 mins later they call to tell me again tire is in, same person. Got there at 315pm, at 4pm they finally brought my car back, at 445pm car is ready, ask did you check the tmps, oh no 4got, brought it back on rack, came back 5 mins later oh nothing is wrong with it! Going home the light comes back on again. Called corporate to complain, which was a wasted call, they said to bring vehicle back up there. We will NEVER do business again with this company. I am proceeding to the BBB."

"Very happy with the service and products I received. Made a small deposit and scheduled an apt. online for new tires, alignment, oil change and wiper blades. Showed up a little early to drop off my car and converse with the guy to make sure they gave the vehicle a once-over for me. I already knew the back suspension was going, as I could hear the back tires starting to "talk" because they were cupping. It was time for me to put new sneakers on this pig anyway, since we're road tripping to the redwoods. I got a call shortly after drop off. They said the front suspension was fine, but the back had an issue that was causing the tires to cup... exactly what I was expecting to hear. They also mentioned that the brake pads had worn rather low, something I was also expecting to hear. He said they weren't chirping and I could probably get a little more mileage out of them, but right now, the rotors still looked great, so if I was wanting to use a little extra precaution, it would be a good time to do it. So I added new brakes to the list. They're Wagner ceramic, which I've used in the past and I'm happy with. They offer a lifetime guarantee so next time I need them changed, I only pay labor and they cover parts... same warranty on the rear suspension. Alignment is good for 3 mos / 3k mi. Oil was Valvoline full synthetic. I picked out the Michelin defender LTX online, after doing my research. When I picked up my vehicle, the guy says "I love to see someone put quality tires on a nice vehicle. Those are the best we sell, I couldn't offer you an upgrade if I wanted to. You take care of that ride and it's going to take care of you." My philosophy exactly. I've been driving on them for a Handful of days now, including 1-20 and 285. They're smooth, quiet and handle well. The new wipers work fantastic. Brakes feel great. Alignment is exactly as it should be. The ONLY thing they missed, was the rear wiper. I wasn't charged for one, but would have gladly paid for a new one. Everything about my visit was smooth. The cost was exactly what I expected it would be, as I had done my homework ahead of time. They didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need and they guarantee their work. The two employees I interacted with were personable and kind. I used the location on Villa Rica Hwy, near Publix and DQ. I will definitely use this location again and would recommend to others. My husband used them months ago and was also very satisfied with his experience. Keep up the good work guys. I feel like I paid an honest price, for honest service and quality products."

"100/10!!! The alignment was a bit pricey but on a Saturday, last minute, very needed. They offered to work with me and help me out. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed over or screwed. The work was professional, timely and very well handled by staff and crews. I originally thought not to come here because of other Mavis Tires I’ve been too. After reading others reviews, I chose this over others, on a Saturday no less. Kurt, one of the front runners was very kind over the phone when I called before coming. Told me it would be an easy job but they were busy, so an 1 hour or 1 hour and 30. Kurt and John offered us coupons over the phone and in store. They have military/law enforcement and over coupons to help with certain services! We had an alignment and wiper blades were offered! (We just bought this car and the place we bought it from didn’t put new wipers or give it an alignment! They offered but on days that don’t work with my or my husband’s schedule) They had LOTS of cars here when my husband and I got here, they were busy. (Me being a mechanic) I could see lots of different services happening in the bays. Mechanics hard at work, the shop and the lobby were very clean. We looked around the shop for things to do. There’s lots of places to eat, shop, a Kroger and their deli! We chose the Waffle House because yum! We made that short 5 min walk to the restaurant. We finished our food, paid and left. As we were walking back, we saw our Hyundai Veloster backing out of the bay and John, the mechanic who handled our payments, discounts, coupons. 100/10!!"
