"The food was amazing but you could tell the waitress didn't care about me and my boyfriend because we weren't dressed as well as her other table, the one she stopped by every few minutes. We still left her a good tip because we aren't monsters. It was our anniversary dinner and we'll be back but probably gonna request a different waitress."
"Parking was tight & limited. Extraordinary wait time as it was not busy for my party and parties that came after mine. Server was rude and had limited knowledge of the menu. The appetizer was okay. Of the four dinners ordered, two were burned. I recommend the restaurant, but do not have high expectations. Food is edible and ni e atmosphere."
"I love the food from Effina’s but tonight’s steak has a weird taste to it. ( like rotten) I didn’t even want to risk finishing the whole thing in case it was really rotten since I’m pregnant. And it was missing the mashed potato Food is always great but not just tonight!"
"The food was great, the service was good. There were two issues with our visit, the prices we were charged did not match the prices on the menu. I ordered an $11.00 sandwich and was charged $12.50. The explanation was the prices were updated but the menu hasn’t been yet. There is also a sign at the entrance that says there is a 4% surcharge if you use a credit card."
"I had so many people "rave" about this place, and I was not impressed after today. Our waitress was great, got our drink order right away, gave our table bread/butter etc. As I'm waiting for food to arrive, I notice how poor the air quality is, like I'm sweating and then realize why I'm so hot. I look up and see how filthy the vents are, the light fixtures above the table are caked in dust. Also, not to mention how tiny the bathroom stall was. The food was mediocre. I did order bread pudding and it was the only good thing."
