"My kids have been going there since my daughter was born and she is 13. I loved it up until recently. We have insurance and my kids only go for their yearly checkups because they rarely get sick, but we get a bill for every appointment and our insurance company tells us that no one from the office never filed. So when we contact the office billing department they are very rude to us as if we did something wrong. We had to make them file the insurance for a couple of them and we keep getting bills after that because they still aren’t filing. The front desk is not like they use to be so now I’m having to switch to find another pediatrician for my kids as well as get these bills taken care of. Looks like I need to get paid for doing their job"

"If you have no insurance this place is not your friend 195.00 a co-pay an you will be billed more later we basically had to go back to the Er. my daughter needed a follow up visit after being sick there's a sliding fee scale application I was informed of with an attitude an I could still have 195.00 co- pay I will be changing doctors as son as possible"

"The front staff and procedures are very frustrating with this office. You won’t get a sick visit unless it’s a miracle. They only have few, if any, sick openings during the day and will not schedule for the next day. We’ve had to use urgent care more than actually being seen in the office. They frequently require a lot of repeat papers to be filled out but still struggle to get billing correct or appointments. Definitely recheck your appt on the text/email. Multiple times the appointment scheduled via phone is different when we go to show up. The office staff are frequently rude and difficult to deal with. Ashley (PA) and some of the other doctors are awesome though. If you can deal with getting to them. Ashley & others are great providers, willing to send any referrals needed and great with the kids. She addresses all concerns, very personable and our littles love her. Ashley is the reason we’ve stayed but really struggle with the front staff."

"My daughter has been seeing Acevedo since she was a newborn (now 16) my son as well (now 7). We love him and are saddened that we have to find a new doctor since he associated with Medical Associates Plus. I called in 21 to make an appointment for a yearly wellcheck and was told i had to have there social security card and birth certificate. Staff was rude and didnt bother to hear that they saw Dr. Ace for years and I had never had to do any of that. I didnt have it at that time and took them elsewhere. Called this year again to get them back and now there are scheduling issues. Never ever ever had that prbloem. Staff is rude still.. Miss you Dr. Ace but farewell."
