"Some fellow travelers I'd met on an architectural walking tour shared a tip to dine here if you are seeking delicious meal that is also healthy. I'd previously seen and walked past this cafe, which is part of the Jepson Center. On my last day here in Savannah, took their recommendations and ordered one of their soups as well as a salad to take out. (Corn, potato and coconut bisque with fresh basil, cilantro and jalapeno, and a roasted vegetables grain bowl as a take along for my airline trip home). Everything, from the ambience of the space, the upbeat and knowledgeable staff and the fresh and artfully combined ingredients was spot on. I'd come back in a heartbeat... as did my fellow travelers ... who I got to see one last time before I leave beautiful Savannah! This is a lighter, fresh, and healthier fare done with exceptional flair. While waiting for my food to be prepared I also enjoyed visiting the exhibit of Ulysses Davis' fantastical wood sculptures on the 3rd floor of this light filled beautiful building."
"If you’re looking for a culinary adventure that combines art, culture, and scrumptious delights, look no further than Wildflower Cafe! Nestled within the enchanting Jepson Center and Telfair Children’s Art Museum, this charming eatery promises a delightful experience for food enthusiasts of all ages. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Spicy Peanut Noodles – an explosion of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy! The perfect balance of spice and creaminess had me savoring every mouthful. It’s a dish that will undoubtedly leave you craving for more. Next up, the Chicken Salad Flat Bread, a refreshing and vibrant treat. The flatbread was fresh and perfectly complemented by the delectable chicken salad. Each bite was a delightful symphony of textures and flavors, making it a must-try for any food lover. For those seeking a healthier option, the Roasted Vegetable Grain Bowl won’t disappoint. Bursting with savory goodness, this dish was a harmonious blend of well-roasted vegetables, creating a satisfying and nutritious meal that will keep you energized throughout the day. Wildflower Cafe truly caters to everyone with its wide range of vegetarian, gluten-free, and kid-friendly options. No matter your dietary preferences, you’ll find something to satisfy your cravings. The ambience of the cafe is a perfect blend of art and cuisine. The cozy setting, surrounded by captivating artworks and creative energy, makes every visit a memorable one. In conclusion, Wildflower Cafe is an absolute hidden gem for those seeking a delightful dining experience with a side of art and culture. With its flavorful offerings and accommodating menu, it’s a haven for foodies from all walks of life. If you find yourself in the Jepson Center and Telfair Children’s Art Museum, don’t miss the chance to indulge in the culinary wonders that Wildflower Cafe has to offer!"
"This is a lovely little cafe inside of the Jepson Center and it's definitely worth trying even if you aren't planning on touring the museum (though it's right there so why not check it out?). You walk up to the host and check out the menu and order there. They'll give you a table number (styled in one of many wildflower designs) and you seat yourself. The Jepson has these amazing windows in front so I suggest grabbing a seat there to look out onto Telfair square. The atmosphere is great as the high ceiling has a sort of echoing effect which gives the conversations around you a muffled, ethereal quality. You definitely feel like you're eating inside a museum. For food I tried the Vegetable Crudites and the Adult Grilled Cheese. Both were fresh and tastes wonderful. The bread tastes homemade and it's toasted perfectly. The veggies were crunchy and the yogurt sauce was the star of the show. I ended up putting the leftovers on my sandwich. The menu is a little limited but they have enough on it that I will be back to try more."
"The Telfair's Jepson's Museum has a great new restaurant in the expansive space overlooking beautiful Telfair Square - it makes you feel like you are eating outdoors. I recommend the roasted vegetables - the veggies change, but this is a picture from the first time I got it which was perfection (2nd time a little too salty). They spicy noodles have been recommended highly by many, but I have yet to try it. Also pictured is the "grown up grilled cheese." Great spot whether you are a tourist or local. Parking is always tricky downtown, but there is a parking deck a block away to the west..."
