"What a wonderful 29th anniversary celebration at The Grey this evening. We were seated exactly at the time of our reservation and immediately wished "Happy Anniversary" and given a greeting card. I think every staff member we encountered wished us a happy anniversary. The food! Breads, spiced pecans, olives, ribeye, collard greens, smashed potatoes, apple cobbler and butterscotch pudding all done to perfection. However, the meringue (greyhound) bones with fresh whipped cream topped with a candle for an anniversary gift was literally the icing on the cupcake. Outstanding service, historic location, and a sweet greeting by the chef/owner on the way out the door. Who could ask for anything more? HIGHLY recommended. When you're in Savannah, don't miss this one!"

"What a beautiful experience. My brother and I who are big foodies came in for an extra special celebration in honor of our dads birthday after his passing. We were greeted with exceptional service as well as extra thoughtful touches in honor of our celebration. We agreed the food was pretty remarkable. The pumpkin wasn’t our favorite but everything else was filled with flavor. I didn’t even snap pics before we started to dig in. They also brought palette cleansers before dessert. Really lovely staff and experience. Thank you for making this such a memorable evening for us!! I have nothing but great things to say about this spot."

"What a wonderful experience! The attention to detail from the service staff was unprecedented. The food was an ingenious twist on the old classics. The history of this building is an experience all its own! I heard about this eatery through the Netflix series chef's table. It was featured in season 6."

"My husband and I are foodies. The Grey has been on our list of places to visit for years. We live out-of-state. We were a little concerned that it would be your typical Southern fare, but the food exceeded our expectations! We were there for brunch. The atmosphere was amazing! It's set in an old Greyhound bus station; high ceilings with skylights reminiscent of times past, the bench seats and bar stools were original from the bus station, and they had a band with a very talented singer (I wish we carried cash to tip them). The server was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating when we started ordering more and more food to try and take with us (yeah, it was that good!). We are looking forward to our next trip to Savannah and having dinner at The Grey."

"If you come to Savannah for fine dining, you must come to the Grey. One thing that we noticed is that it seem to have strayed from its roots slightly as a full southern restaurant and now it’s more upscale modern American food. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Enjoyed the pumpkin salad and the eggplant okra appetizers. I had the lamb chops which were tasty and the rest of table had the flounder. Was cooked perfectly. Had the smashed potatoes and the collards. The drinks were unique. I had a mezcal drink with carrot juice. Sounded strange but tasted great. Would definitely go back."
