"I had to take my dog to an emergency vet after a visit here. Everything seemed fine at drop off and I appreciated the early hours of operations but within an hour of getting home I noticed my dog squinting and eventually keeping one of his eyes closed. I assumed it’s irritation from shampoo or hair dryer so I washed it out with water. Two hours later he could barely open his eye so I got doggy eye wash. By the next morning his eye was shut and he struggled to open it at all plus. There was also white discharge. This is a young dog with no health issues. This being a Saturday, no local vets could see him so I ended up taking him to the emergency vet who determined there was an ocular ulcer due to most likely shampoo being left in his eyes and/or additional neglect/trauma. This alone is awful but there were other reasons I won’t be coming back. When I didn’t hear from the groomer past the quoted time frame (they said 3-4 hrs. I called after 4.5) I called and inquired. They checked and said “oh yes, you can start heading over” and magically instantly I got the text that he was ready. It seemed like they just forgot to text me. Lastly the haircut is uneven. He was basically shaved and even that isn’t done properly. He has razor burns and for some reason they gave him bangs. He’s had better days. The people working there are perfectly nice but perhaps not trained properly or overwhelmed."
""Give me my dog" that's what I said after they explained how my baby shrunk down and whimpered as they PLUCKED the hair from her ears. omg My dog has been professionally groomed for all 11 years of her life. They made a note on her file, like she's a risk .... to which I said, "Give me my dog"."
