Motel 6 Pooler, GA - Savannah Airport

"Room had a smell in it and when I turned on lights to go to bathroom, roaches scattered. Went down for breakfast, there was only a croft of cold coffee. Receptionist had hair bonnet on, half dressed, no shoes and breast feeding."

"I have stayed here many times in different rooms and I'd say overall it's not a terrible deal for the price, usually. The rooms were clean to about 70% satisfaction, I'd say 7 out of 10 stays. Atmosphere isn't great but not a dangerous area. Plenty of parking and located near I-95, on Highway 80 in growing the Pooler area. Also only minutes from Savannah/HHI International Airport and walking distance to many local restaurants."

"We booked through Expedia room was 66 dollars when we arrived we asked about adding a night they said we had to contact expedite because they couldn't do it so I called Expedia and they said ask the hotel what a run around. So then we finally found someone to add a night but the price has gone up to 107 on a Monday that was crazy so we asked for a late check out but they said yes but we had to leave by 1pm that's not late if we stayed until 4 we had to pay the 107 so we went to another hotel and they probably sat with an empty room"

"I'll say this, it's not as bad as it looks. The outside is not inviting at all. As we were headed to our room, we had some men drinking in the stairwell, and they didn't bother to move as you ascend. This wasn't an isolated incident. They were camped there in most of the stairwells. This is not a complaint, nor a reason not to stay, but for someone who may have social anxiety, this is helpful info. It did not bother me. I had a dog and someone with me. I also did not feel unsafe, more like uneasy. It's cheap, so you can expect things that come with cheap, like, loud music, drugs and late night visitors. This place had all three. For instance, people were openly smoking on the balcony. I am a fan of the plant, so i was not bothered. All that being said, the room was clean, and we slept just fine. Overall, though, I doubt I'd stay again. I feel like staying here might be like Russian roulette. You may be safe 5 out of 6 times, but that one time, you're not safe. it's probably going to be fatal."

"Husband hated the bed, i was very comfortable!! Room was clean, had a weird smell, not bad just odd. I think it was floor cleaner as my socks got a strange residue on them. No coffee maker in room, office had coffee in the morning. No table and chairs, just one desk chair. Overall, it was fine for a night as we traveled through."
