"This salon is phenomenal and let me tell you why. I had been growing my locs for 11 years and after the stress of losing my father in March they begin to fall out. My younger sister who had been keeping them interlocked suggested it may be time for a change. While I wanted to just shave them all off completely in my impatience, she instead offered her time in trying to unlock as much hair as she could from cutting them shoulder length. After numerous hours I had an uneven afro and with graduation a week away my anxiety was at an all time high in trying to find someone to style my thick dense hair. I knew that I wanted to experiment with my hair but in researching hair salons in Savannah I saw no reflection of myself in the works of beauticians until I came across Mrs. Candace's page. I came to her shop in a panic to try and find some assistance in taming my crown. She immediately assisted me and squeezed me in for an appointment the following Tuesday with the first of my graduation events taking place on Thursday. She did the booking through an app called StyleSeat and it was so easy to navigate with verifying the time and getting an idea of the price for the service she would be providing. I requested coloring and styling and I could not be happier with the results! Not only was she incredibly skilled and creative with her work, but she also went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the outcome. From the moment I arrived on Tuesday, I felt welcomed and at ease in her stylish and comfortable salon. Mrs. Candace's friendly demeanor and warm personality really put me at ease. She provided a thorough consultation about what I wanted, and made excellent suggestions based on my preferences and hair type. She took her time to listen and discuss different options for my hair. She kept me informed throughout the entire process, and made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. I was extremely impressed with her expertise and attention to detail, which was evident in the stunning final result. Thanks to her professional touch, my hair looked stunning with a beautiful dye job that complemented my skin tone and a cut that perfectly suited my face shape. My hair looks and feels amazing, and I have received countless compliments from friends and family since leaving the salon. I knew it was going to take a lot to get my hair redefined from having locs for so long and Mrs. Candace did an excellent job in defining my curls and taking me back to childhood memories of my mother and grandmother with her using no tools but instead her very fingers to leave me with shiny hydrated coils that were springy and full from the quality products she used. Overall, my experience at Mrs. Candace's salon was nothing short of amazing. She made me feel beautiful and confident, and I definitely plan on returning for future services. "So I set aside at least 4-5 hours out of My mfing day to get my hair done. I sought this person out. I looked at a lot of reviews. I got in contact with her on a Tuesday and told her what I wanted. She said cool. Paid my deposit. Confirmed with her that morning. I'm coming in, see you at 12. She said cool. So why when I get there at 12pm Is she working on another person's hair? Why do cosmetologists do THIS??? Why would you schedule someone on top of another???? Don't you realize that is my time, my gas, my money I can't get back! That is absolutely ridiculous. Got my deposit and left! If that is not important to you then neither is my money."

"My hair color had grown out from a previous job done by a different stylist and I needed to have it redone. Needless to say, I had a difficult case because I had a vivid color job that was not done well and the color was still deposited in my hair. I asked Candace if she could do an ombré with deep blue/teal and purple, just hoping for the best. Well boy did Candace deliver, when she lifted my hair, it had greens and reds in it but she was patient and fixed it and delivered a beautiful color job with a silk press. My hair looks and feels healthier than it has in a long, long time and I get so many compliments on the color. This was like my 4th time visiting her, and I will only visit her salon after this. I don’t usually write these, but I just had to let people know how good she is!!"
