"Such an interpersonal and intimate experience. I felt as if I were home in NJ eating at my next door neighbor’s house. The Rasta Pasta was great! It was exactly what I needed after a long day. After being in Savannah a year I finally found a Jamaican restaurant i want to come back to."

"Alright, let's get real here. I don’t want to bash this place because I know they're doing their best, but I gotta be honest – I was seriously let down. I had a craving for authentic Jamaican food, so I did my homework before settling on this spot. I mean, I’m half Jamaican and half Indian, so finding top-notch Caribbean cuisine is crucial for me. After months of scouring reviews and TikTok videos, I decided to give this place a shot. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, it fell short – big time. I dropped over $100, and let me tell you, I was not happy. And before you ask, yes, I'm a college student, but here’s the deal: I wanted to have freezer-ready dinners for those inevitable Jamaican food cravings, so that's why I splurged. Now, let's talk about the food. The curry chicken? It wasn't even cooked properly. The oxtail? It lacked seasoning, so much so that I had to add my own. The curry goat? Terrible. Even after adding more seasoning, it still didn't taste right. And don't get me started on the Rasta pasta. I was sooooooo looking forward to it, but it had a really bad aftertaste. Sure, it was somewhat bearable at first, but it definitely wasn't up to par with what I expected. I wanted to love each dish, I really did. Extra side note: Let's talk portion sizes. I was shocked at how small the meat portions were for the amount of money I paid. In comparison to Atlanta, the difference was night and day. It felt like a total rip-off. But in the end, I left feeling disappointed and hesitant to try Jamaican food in Savannah again. It’s not easy for me to say this, but I won’t be returning, and I can't recommend it based on my experience. ‼️Side note: Despite my disappointment with the food, I have to give credit where it's due. The service was exceptional. The guy, I believe he's either the owner or a long-time employee, was incredibly kind and attentive. He understood that we were college students and treated us with such care and generosity. While my experience with the food may not have been great, the service certainly was."

"Friendly service and great food. I ordered the Curried Goat with fried dumplings and peas and rice. The goat was perfectly seasoned and tender and the rice was some of the best I've had. It was my first time having fried dumplings and they are quite addicting. Such a good addition to soak up all the delicious juices from the goat. My husband and I will be coming back for sure! I can't wait to try other dishes"

"My first time here and the food was amazing! I ordered the large oxtail, rice and beans, and cabbage and told him I may need a Togo box, honey let me tell you! I tore that plate up! All of it! It was plated nicely and all! I probably finished this plate in like 10-15 min lol! Great Customer Service! 10 of 10"
