"Portia (our waitress) was very good! She was friendly, attentive & thorough. I believe we were the 1st customers for the dinner crowd. Food was good, quick, hot & just as ordered. Unfortunately this Restaurant is about 35 minutes from home ( in SC ) or we would be there often."

"I just walked in to get a Togo order because their phones are off when I tried to call. I wanted to have a drink while I wait for my food so I went to the bar. Greeted by a NASTY attitude bartender DaVita! Who immediately told me before I say down she's not taking Togo orders before I could tell her I was going to order a drink as well. After I told her I wanted to drink she got even more NASTY rolled her eyes and said "I'll be with you in a minute" and walked away. I asked for the manager she rudely said she's right there. I told the manager I am leaving and I can't believe how rude the bartender was to me for just wanting to order. The manager said she would have a talk with her yeah right. Never have I experienced such poor customer service at an Applebee's! Good luck going here."

"We came in, it wasn't crowded at all. Still we had to wait before we were seated. We ordered two salads and we only got one fork and knife. My wife ask for another set and got a small plastic fork. When we complained the waitress said there weren't any forks left (!??) and walked away. When she came back later, we complained again but she blamed it on the lack of staff and that was it. She wasn't kind and a bit rude. Never experienced anything like this in the 30 years we visit the USA."

"I was told it was going to be a 15-minute wait, even though the restaurant was half empty by a waitress because the hostess was smoking outside at the front door. Horrible management. Waited 40 minutes just for nachos. 2 draft beers and nachos were $35. They were closing up shop by 8:30 pm. Tilting chairs and refusing service. None of them wanting to work. Unacceptable."
