"While we were at this restaurant, a manager decided that it would be appropriate to write up a teenage employee in the dining room. She was talking extremely loudly so that it was easy to hear what was happening, and she was audibly swearing with children in earshot. I feel so bad for the poor teenage employee - I'm guessing she didn't realize how inappropriate her manager's behavior was! I would never come back to this place. It isn't that hard to write up an employee outside of public earshot. A business that doesn't have the sense to employ a semi-competent manager who could figure that out doesn't deserve any business. I'd strongly suggest staying away from here - you might find yourself overhearing something similar!"

"My kids love this place! You’ll truly feel like family when you’re there. They have great food and staff. My kids love the kid room to run around while we wait for our pizza! Our favorite things is their pizza, soft pretzels with cheese, and fried cauliflower! An island favorite for sure."

"Basils Pizza and Deli, Is a wonderful restaurant. The staff is so courteous, Friendly,, Helpful,, And they make you feel welcomed and at home. I had the pleasure of performing there last weekend, And they made us feel as if we were stars. I enjoyed the place so much, I brought my wife there. And we were treated with the utmost respect. My wife being from New Orleans, knows good food. And she said the food was so good. She wants to go back there. And we live all the way in Rincon. Needless to say this restaurant gets 5 stars all the way across the board. And I will tell everyone I know about this wonderful Restaurant. the atmosphere,, And the decor is great. I will be back there on January 19th,, Can't wait."

"I recently dined at Basils, and I must say the experience was outstanding. The atmosphere was cozy, and what truly elevated the dining experience was the spectacular service provided by Kelly. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor made the meal even more enjoyable. The mozzarella sticks and the pretzels were hot and delicious, and Kelly's exceptional service, makes this a must-visit restaurant."

"Super busy night, very late and a live band as well so, I kinda get the service being a bit slow therefore 4 stars. Tell Scarlet was one of the reasons we visited tonight, the band was amazing. I would have liked to see some low carb/sugar options but I do get not all pizza places are on the cauliflower bandwagon. At least it was a delicious cheat night for me, pizza was good and mozzarella sticks were tasty. Food could have been a bit warmer therefore 4 stars. Pizza would have been fabulous if it was hotter as well as the mozzarella sticks!!"
