"Awful place. The management never helps you. They charge late fees on rent out of nowhere. Then when you call and ask they laugh and say that’s funny a lot of people have been saying that. It’s so hard to get any help from them. If you are in the military looking for an apartment. I promise there is better."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. When we arrived to the unit and opened the garage we realized they were storing bath tubs so we had to call and have them removed before we could move stuff in. No cleaning was done, just removal of the tubs. We found hair ties and burn marks all in the sinks. We just escaped this place after living in 417A for a year too long. Renters beware that all of the apartments in that area have NO peace or quiet. With the school being so close it’s always loud. Management constantly puts notices on your door for random inspections ”per federal regulations” and even request you cage your animals for these periods of times which can be weeks on end that you “give permission to enter”. Maintenance is rude and they are very inexperienced, the head of maintenance is married to the head of parkstead (suprise suprise).. when we came we had noticed the bathroom leaking and black mold behind the tub as well as growing on the walls. There was no proper ventilation so the mold is still building up at this time. When maintenance came they caulked the mold and painted over it !!! Told us to “throw some bleach on it” They would enter the apartment even after being asked multiple times in work orders to not enter unless someone was present. When asked why they enter when asked not too we were told maintenance never actually sees the work orders only the office does. So I wouldn’t waste your time filling out maintenance requests. When we came they had completely different management, seeing now how things are run I can see why they lost the managers. Michelle is the current park manager and she is terrible. She is not willing to accommodate resident requests of basically anything because she isn’t trained properly. She also will send you threatening emails from her home at all hours of the night . She claims the system generates bills that she has no explanation for .She is very unprofessional and should have never been given a management position . If you don’t sleep, don’t work and live on welfare this is the place for you!! Don’t forget they took out all of the playgrounds and the speed bumps will surely mess up your shocks and struts !! But guess who gets stuck with the bill? YOU DO. DO NOT RENT HERE. SAVE YOUR CASH"

"The people are nice but the level of professional responsibility is lacking. When I first moved in I had to ask them repeatedly for things that should be expected to be done on day one, such as giving me the mailbox keys. I look past things like leaks and bugs and doors that don't close because, overall, the property is nice, if you don't expect perfection. But when I moved out, they first charged me the full months rent because apparently it was my responsibility to cancel the automatic payments, which they neglected to tell me. But then they couldn't refund me the money due back to me for the pro-rated month until after I moved out and then only by paper check, snail-mailed to me. So, after I moved out, I called to check if the refund was on its way, only to be informed that they were charging me an extra three days because no one checked the drop box on Saturday when they were in the office, and since Monday was a holiday, they charged me an extra $135 for their mistake and they were not taking any responsibility for it. Plus they were trying to charge me $130 for carpet cleaning as part of their normal turnover process. It is my understanding that normal wear and tear and upkeep are usually ruled by courts as landlord responsibilities and should not be included in fees for the tenants. In other words, I have heard of this complex charging ridiculous fees when you leave and it is 100% true. I have lived in six different states and have never been charged these kinds of fees. I am due $700 prorated rent and they are just trying to keep the majority of that money by trumping up false fees and charges. So far, they have only sent a check for half of what is due back to me."

"Nice. Interiors have been updated with new everything Jan2018. And they have recently re-done the paneling outside Mar2018. Heated garage. New fitness room. Basketball courts. Multiple playgrounds. Nice neighbors. It's quiet... Very happy here."
