"Absolutely horrible, this place should be condemned. Immediately upon walking into the room, we felt like we were in a Norman Bates movie. Dark & dreary, wood paneling on all the walls, ancient lamps and an old box TV which didn't even work. Walked into the bathroom - tub was full of potato bugs, they were crawling up out of the drain. Notified the OWNER named Roman, who told us "just run the water and they'll get flushed down the drain." Also, the bathroom was baby blue tile from the 50's with an ancient looking sink which constantly leaked. By the way, there's no phones in the rooms. The owner lives in a house in the front parking lot. Ok, so we flush the potato bugs down the drain and figure maybe this isn't that bad, it's just an old motel, hasn't been updated since the 50's, but hey it was relatively cheap and they have a sign posted NO REFUNDS. So we're laying in bed, and I see something crawling next to my head on my pillow! We both jump up, and it was a BED BUG. We flipped the mattress up and find dozens of them in the creases of the mattress. Since there's no phone in the room (which is illegal) we went back to the house in the parking lot and rang the bell. The owner came out in a ratty jacket with an old flashlight. He puts the mattress up against the wall, and says "yep, they're bed bugs". Then he pulls up the box spring. GIANT SPIDERS are inside the torn bottom of it. I also have to mention, the mattress/box spring were so totally worn and disgusting with stains that looked like blood on them. His solution was to move us to another room. So we get moved to a different room, I spend about an hour checking every nook and cranny of the mattress, box spring, everywhere for bed bugs. Didn't find anything. Oh, the bathroom in this room was all HOT PINK TILE. The place has never been updated. So we finally get to sleep, only to get woken up at 4:30 AM by a bunch of screaming Indian teenagers (7 of them in one room) yelling and pounding around in the room next door. Their early 90's conversion van is running outside with extremely loud and smelly exhaust. This goes on for about 20 minutes. I go back to the owner, and he says "I don't care what they do, they come here every year and stay here while they're working, and I make good money off them. I'm not making enough money from you to go tell them to stop doing anything." Are you kidding me?? Anyway, they leave after 20 minutes or so, we go back to sleep on a very old uncomfortable mattress for a couple hours, and end up with bed bug bites all over us when we wake up before checkout. Should have taken the loss and left without a refund. Run far, far away from this place. I have contacted the police, building inspector, and took them to small claims court and was awarded $948 in connection with all the code violations and refusal to refund my money. I would not wish a night at this place on my worst enemy. RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. There are other options close by. --- Edit: A few more things to mention - There is an upstairs room in the center of the building, which the other guests that had been there for weeks said was being rented by an Asian prostitute to "turn tricks", and there was drug use going on also."

"Great price-value motel. Forget negative people writing bad things. I'm pretty sure they had other issues when writing. We asked to see the room first, and that was no problem. Shower hot and hard, bed soft and comfy, super clean and cleaned every day of our stay. This last in contrast to many cheaper chain motels. Just a very good stay at the lowest price available. 40 minutes to Niagra Falls."
